McVay shut off his head set 15 seconds before the snap because he didn't want Belichick to adjust his defense in the final seconds. Nothing he tried was going to work against the Pats. Make Goff a pocket passer and win the game. More than anything else this SB was the teacher giving the student a painful lesson.

Not mad, but disappointed. Team is still young and will have more opportunities. Not gonna lose a lot of players this year, so I expect another run.

Don't worry brother, the pain will eventually go away but you'll just never want to watch the game again... Especially bc the game was there for the taking. Oh well, it's only sports!

I'm sure many of us felt that way about SB loss, too. I never re-watched it

I would have though the Rams would've scored more with Gurley and Cooks. Looks like Cupp's injury hurt them badly. Still, it must've been hard to watch as a Rams fan and their lack of moving the ball. In retrospect, our HC (OC in Atl) should have called better plays when it mattered but at least he was able to put some points up vs. Belichik.
It will be curious to see how the Rams respond. They're losing a lot of coaches and don't have a lot of draft picks or much cap space to make big moves.

I think that loss will shake them and there's definitely a crack in their armour. Next year is our opportunity to take back the division!

They actually have a good amount of picks despite not having their 2nd. I think they are getting 2 3rd round compensatory picks

1st round
2nd round (Traded to KC for CB Marcus Peters)
3rd round
*Potential 3rd round Compensatory Pick (Traded to Jacksonville for DE Dante Fowler)
*Potential 3rd or 4th round Compensatory Pick
4th round
5th round
6th round
7th round (Traded to NYG in the Alec Ogletree Trade)
McVay got out coached, and hung out to dry on his own ego! He seemingly made no adjustments, and just kept banging his head against the wall. The Pats played a lot of 5-6 man fronts stunting up front, and playing zone on the back end. McVay never found a way to get the green game, the horizontal run game, or bootleg game going. He just seemed so confident that his game plan would work, fright up until the end, when it utterly failed him...and what the f**k was that field goal attempt at the end of regulation...are you s**tting me, game on the line, one play left to tie it, and you trot out that?

The best thing is seeing fans of sorry teams ride the coattails of other legendary teams like the Pats. I get it. You can't get it done so hop on the first erection you see. I'm sure you guys saw plenty of that when y'all were good. Don't be that person.

Three points LMAO

Seriously! The Rams were a huge disgrace plain and simple the overrated coach, the overrated qb And many more players. Enjoy never being more than a playoff team unless you dump goff or he magically gets way way better under pressure or improves his accuracy.

And if you want to talk about sorry ass teams.... you should talk about the Rams having the worst decade of football ever from 2000-2010 not to mention they've been horrible for what about 15 years.
Yeah we don't need to ride coattails. Maybe you should worry about how you were embarrassed 2 years in a row. You know goff isn't the answer and you had a free shot from the refs at a trophy. What a joke

I remember when many on the wz said all those moves the rams made wouldn't workout. They said all those hard to handle personalities would blow up in their face.

lol zoners.

The exact term was "paper tigers" and were compared to that one eagles "dream team" a few years back. Fun times on the zone.

Yet here we are.

That's not how it works. It's a league wide rule. Headsets automatically shut off communication between coach and QB with 15 seconds left on the play clock.

And I thought BB had two defensive plays so he would have them switch after that 15 seconds. Evil genius he is
