The Rams needed to sell licences for their stadium tickets in order to get the billions back they've put in the stadium. So, they invested short term in FA instead of drafting talent to be quickly as attractive as possible. Just imagine you are a dolphins fan, would you buy overpriced tickets based on what you saw the last year's? Or would you rather prefer to buy overpriced tickets for a team that appeared in a super bowl and had the highest scoring offense just a couple of months ago?

That's why he's not fired.
