Denver's eating half of his salary
Lol, so better yet.
sorry they're eating most of it…DEN just paid for picks. LA gets a rental player who's been a little banged up (but still good). He's a free agent end of the yr.

We just traded a boatload of 1s for our QBOTF this year. Would you have taken the Von Miller deal? 2022 draft and niners have no picks till round 4. For a 1 year rental on an aging pass rusher.

You know I had this same thought about JG yesterday. What if we get a lot of mid round picks, but still eat most of his salary this year.

baring catastrophic injuries, I fully expect the Rams to win the Súper bowl. And if they don't, they need to be mocked forever

Rams loading up. Maybe we'll sign someone from a teams practice squad to counter-balance.

This isn't even remotely close to the same scenario. Denver is paying $9M of Von's $9.7M contract for the rest of the season. He's a FA end of the yr.
Denver basically paid for draft picks knowing they weren't gonna able able to resign Von and wanted more than a comp pick when he leaves. LA doesn't care about draft picks, clearly. They take on $700K.

This. Posters think this is Madden where we can trade for every single player and fleece the entire NFL into assembling a roster of All Pros at every position. Glad we didn't lose draft assets for a player who has no long term future here. Just sucks he went to LA.

Alot of pressure on the Rams to win the SB this year. Anything less than that it's a complete failure. We are not winning the SB this season, So this move doesn't affect us at all. I hope they trade the remaining of their picks for another rental. Anything to weaken the team in the future. If Trey pans out, The Rams won't be a threat to us at all.

LA's hosting the SB next year and are going ALL IN!
They are trying to buy a SB so when they lose, it will be that much sweeter!
