This is how NFL fans felt in 94 when we signed everybody and still landed Deion. Thanks for the perspective life. You vicious, vicious antagonist.

Remember when people around here argued the Rams were mortgaging their future when they traded their 2018 1st, 2018 2nd, 2018 5th, 2018 6th, 2019 2nd and 2019 3rd for: Bradon Cooks, Dante Fowler, Aqib Talib, Sammy Watkins and Marcus Peters.

All those dudes are gone AND the Rams reloaded their roster to be better than before. Meanwhile, the 49ers have wasted more picks than they've hit by large margin.

I know right? A lot of the general managers in the NFL need to take note of this

That's all great but where are their SB trophies. People that thought OBJ should be Niner were kidding themselves. He wouldn't come to a place with a lame duck QB that can't find the open receiver. The Niners never had a chance. That's the part fans always leave out. They think Lynch doesn't try and get these guys but free agents have to want to come here before the Niners can sign them. Right now, SF doesn't look like an ideal landing spot for a player that wants a ring.
He might not be much of a factor Monday night since he'll only have a couple of days practice. Still, he might get one or two big throws.

Still taking the field vs the Rams when it comes to the Super Bowl winner this year.

LA will end up with 0 Championships this season. Dodgers already choked, Rams and Lakers are next
Wow I guess the Rams aren´t trying to run it back since they lost the Super Bowl

What's crazy is how Les Snead was perceived before he hired Sean McVay. A lot of people viewed him as one of the worst GMs in the league from 2012 to 2017. Before hiring Sean McVay, the Rams hadn't qualified for the playoffs or hell, won more than 7 games in a season.

It's amazing what hiring the right head coach and making a bunch of ballsy trades will do you one's image.

Maybe he learned on the job, something the pair of douchebags in 49ers front office are incapable of. Stubbornness and egocentricity. Solid qualities in a FO.
49ers are a joke. This is how you build a Super Bowl roster.
Rams somehow continue to have money for all these big name guys. They must have some sort of mathematician cap wizard in their front office. Probably time we start following their model.

No Snead sucked major balls. All it took was him to acquire a ton of FA's and trades like Whitworth, Woods, Ramsey, Peters, Talib and Stafford now Miller OBJ and many more. That isn't necessarily a great GM imo bc any GM knows all those players are good. What Snead does have is the balls to go thru with all the trades and fa signings. The draft has been bad for the Rams and they had the worst decade of any franchise besides Detroit.

All they did is restructure their big contracts and let go of a few people, but with that 30+ million in dead money I thought for sure they would of lost a lot more players.

I hope our GM/Coach realizes that this approach isn't necessarily mortgaging your future bc there are always ways to restructure contracts, let go of overpriced vets or injured players and also draft capital for good players
Who cares. OBJ is a f**king loser. When I heard the news I was happy.

The Rams are gonna get f**king rolled come playoff time.

What's funny is that Jed considered Snead for GM when he brought in Harbaugh and I bet you fans would've lost it if he made that move.

Is it though? Not yet. You may turn out to be correct, but we do not know that yet.

Lets revisit this in February when the Super Bowl LVI champion has been crowned.
Read OBJ's deal was a 500k signing bonus and $750k salary for $1.25 mil and up to $3 mil in bonus based on how far the team gets in The playoffs. The Rams got a deal. But its all for nothing if they don't win the Superbowl

In short, this deal cost the Rams almost nothing. Nothing. OBJ agreed to the deal because of the media market and the chance for a ring. Until he proves otherwise, DCs will have to consider him a threat that must be accounted for.

Snead is smart. He knows that playing in the Super Bowl in your own super-stadium will be an enormous financial benefit to the team and the community. This move was a no-brainer for the Rams.
