He was likely referring to Danny Amendola (he only referred to the player by his first name, he didn't ever say "Woodhead"), a player whom he coached in St. Louis and one with excellent YAC ability. He probably just conflated the two players for a second, which is understandable because they are have similar builds and skillsets.

The idea that Fisher thinks Woodhead is still on the Patriots and that this was anything more than a spur-of-the-moment mental lapse is just preposterous.

Unbelievable how this dude still has a job in a league that puts so much emphasis on winning in a short amount of time. 8 straight seasons since his last winning record and best believe, the Rams will not win out and end that streak this year. When they moved to LA, they should have went all out in their movement and moved on from Fisher, hired a new coach in a new city with a new franchise QB.

He got those nice special teams trick plays every now and then tho

Chris Weinke is their QB coach. A dude with 2 wins his entire career is supposed to coach a #1 pick? That makes absolutely no sense. I understand coaching is different than playing, but if you were Goff how could you take this guy seriously? He was an awful QB.
