Just because you don't understand it don't make it untrue.

Yet, teams like Rams continue to bolster their already talented roster. Makes you wonder.

No it really doesn't. They have a small window then will be in trouble. We have a future.

Who cares if they "will be in trouble" ? LOL. They've been to 2 Super Bowls since moving to LA and won one. They've been competitive every year since being in LA and still have one of the best rosters. They're just a better managed team than we are. They made the bold move for Stafford while we didn't.

We've been saying they're going to be "in trouble" for years now. Instead they won the SB.

I know right. People have been saying that for years. Also with the Saints and they still had a great defense and we're on pace to easily be playoff bound with Winston.

Trey is going to be better than Stafford. I don't care what people say, I would rather have 22 year old Trey Lance Than 34 year old Mathew Stafford. People act like Stafford is Mahomes, Rodgers, or Josh Allen. He is a tier below them.

Trey might go on to be the best QB in the NFL but if he doesn't win us a SB it doesn't matter. Stafford won a SB for the Rams. If over the next 10 years the Rams lose every single game while we are "good" every year but don't win a SB, they still are on top. This is not a knock on Trey. I like him and expect him to be a Pro Bowl caliber player next year. I'm just saying the Rams made the right moves, went "all in" and it paid off.

FWIW, in retrospect, I wasn't all in on getting Stafford. I don't like the guy (or his attention seeking wife).
they don't ''feel'' like the NFL champions now do they? Refs had to bail them out. Stafford was sh*ting the bed that last month of the season.

5 > 2. They are NEVER on top. WE are the crown jewel franchise of this division and along with the Cowboys of the NFC!

Yup hard to even call these guys champs. Same team that tried their absolute best to blow the lead vs Tampa with clownish turnovers. 2-1 vs these guys and feels like we can be a lot better next year with Trey.

if Tartt catches that INT.........who knows....
They probably got worse overall in the off season. As much as you guys hype them.

Yea Stafford gets all this love but he played like s**t for large parts of the NFCCG and SB. He should've thrown 2 picks to us and he did throw 2 against CIN.

If Tartt catches that pass we go 3 and out anyway...offense wasn't doing anything. KS and JG were completely shut down that 4th quarter.

TBF to KS and JG, the O-line was busted, Trent Williams was pretty much 50/50 on playing that's never a good thing. Not sure how long you could count on Tom Compton and Daniel Brunskill, sure they might've improved their pass blocking a little but from what I remember they were horrible at run blocking. Elijah Mitchell wasn't all that healthy either and was getting stuffed I wanna say without looking it up he got less than 40 yards rushing. Also WTF was Shanahan doing making Jeff Wilson a healthy scratch for Jamycal Hasty that was a total WTF move.

So true. We were basically down to 2 backup tackles with Williams playing with a high ankle sprain and possibly the worst game of his career bc of it as well as McGlinchey being out. Meanwhile the Rams had their OL healthy. We only ran to Williams side 2-3 times I believe and that alone easily cost us the game. He routinely WRECKS the rams and if healthy is worth WAY MORE than the 3 points we lost by. Injury Luck was on the rams side like always (healthiest team over the past 8 seasons confirms it).

If the sorry ass niners did their job, then the rams wouldn't be champions. The niners blew that game away rather than the Rams "winning it".

But you gotta give credit to the champs. I dlslike them but their roster is talented.

The Butt hurt in this thread is almost painful to read.
