They should pay people to go to that game and or even watch it on TV. Just end the game as soon as the first team scores so no one has to watch that garbage on Christmas even accidentally while flipping through the channels.

Les Snead really built a sustainable winner didnt he? I knew they'd fall off this year but i thought they'd at least be around .500
I remember how some on here were on their knees when it came to the Rams and how they built that team. I dont see any hope on the horizon either. Their "stars" are past their prime and they have no top draft picks for years to come. They went all in for a Super Bowl only to win it and the city still not support them. Surprise Surprise. I still cant believe a city like LA got 2 NFL teams when they cant even support a super bowl winner.

Got Baker Mayfield
at least he might help them beat Seattle week 18 bc with Purdy playing, we may need a Seattle loss

Seattle have a tough schedule ahead, 49er's, Chiefs, Jets and I just have this feeling that Mayfield may be ready by the time he meets up with Seattle, and will beat them.
Unless 49er's completely tanks, they should be able to win their division.
If the Chiefs clinch their division, they could go with another QB, but Seattle still have 49er's and Jets to contend with ... and the Jet's are not the pushover team they were last year.

I hope the Rams aren't let off the hook if Stafford decide's to retire or something. I hope they still have to pay that dead money.

If he retires, I think only the dead cap goes against the cap

They need to get Haley Joel Osment healthy for next season, because they're stuck with his contract.
I wonder if they try to make it work with A-Rob or just eat the contract, releasing him after one year? What they need out of the draft is volume and they gave the Lions a top 5 pick which is just as bad as the Eagles having the Saints 1st.
They need about 3 or 4 offensive linemen, an edge rusher, an inside backer, safety, corner. Basically, a top-heavy roster, with minimal depth.

To the Rams and some of their fans, what they did over the last few years was worth winning a SB. Sure it hurts them long term, but that's something that's hard to maintain for every team. Between injuries and the salary cap it's hard to keep a team in contention for a long time. Teams can't rely on the draft since so many picks don't pan out. They lose quality backups to other teams when they leave to get bigger paychecks. The when a starter leaves there isn't a quality backup to replace him. That creates a need and teams have to change their draft priorities. Suddenly that backup DB or O linemen becomes a need at DL or LB. It's a constant changing landscape.
So the Rams got their SB and now they have to rebuild. Meanwhile, the Niners are still looking for that 6th one.

Hope they enjoy it. It isn't looking good for the future.
