Good signing for the Rams. Not gonna lie I'm going to be afraid for Jimmy with his cheap shot ass out there.

Having said that when was the last time the FA winner won the SB?

the eagles did a bunch last offseason. but in general it rarely works.

Untrue. There have been some statistics out there showing the top spenders in FA over the last few seasons are seeing much better returns on investments than past decades. Most of the top teams in the playoffs the last few seasons have also been the biggest spenders in FA.

This. Gotta pay to play, and rams are all in.

Hardly.

They play a 3-4 and call me crazy but this is arguably the worst set of linebackers in the league:

OLB Matt Longacre
ILB Bryce Hager
ILB Mark Barron
OLB Samson Ebukam

They also don't have a NT unless they are going to play Brockers there and they have a no name SS. They still have tonnes of holes on that D

I'm not afraid of Suh. We whooped the Jaguars and their D is 10x what the Rams D will be.

Yup. Broncos bought themselves a SB with Manning and other FAs.

Most of those teams built their teams through the draft and added a few key players to supplement them.

Because the Lions and Dolphins were so dominant. Sure they have Donaldson but Suh wasn't lined up next to scrubs when he was on Lions he had Ansah and Fairley and In Miami he had Vernon.

When I heard this all I saw was sustained drives. Personal foul Suh 15 yards automatic first down.

They still have much more talent than the seahawks, cardinals and niners. Its not really even debatable on paper.

Exactly ... and this was when Peters and Taleb were added. Talk about a combustible defense.
Young talented team that's been adding first round talent for years, excellent scheme HC and now adding 3 veteran studs on defense.

Pretty much.

Hopefully the three new personalities clash and bring down the whole ship. LOL
Honestly, the thing I'm most concerned about is Suh being dirty and knocking Jimmy G out the whole season for reason other than to be a douche. I'm fine with the moves the Rams are making, otherwise. They're trying to win it all in 2018/2019 and we're still kind of rebuilding.

Exactly.

Football can be an odd game though and "That's why they play the game."

If anyone can scheme around and execute, it's Kyle and Jimmy.

Agreed. Talent doesn't always win. Just ask the 2011 Eagles and the Patriots of the last 20 years.

I still think the Rams will be very good though. I say bring them on.

Sure. They could end up being last place too. Never know how it will play out. But today i'd say they are the favorites in the division.

IMO this was true before they signed Suh. The Rams just won 11 games and we're still kind of in rebuild mode. I'm thinking the Rams will win 12 games. I'm hoping for 10 wins.

No question.
