True here too.

They got a big head start on the rebuild.

Sure. They could end up being last place too. Never know how it will play out. But today i'd say they are the favorites in the division.

Oh for sure. This is icing on their A+ offseason cake.

They still have much more talent than the seahawks, cardinals and niners. Its not really even debatable on paper.

They have no receivers, No TE, a backup calibre SS and literally 1 starting calibre LB out of 4.

Their D wasn't any good last year as they were 28th in the league vs the run. Suh will help some but not vs outside stretch runs. I fully expect Shanahan to exploit that.

Just like the Seahawks they key was to stop Lynch and keep Wilson in the pocket and the Rams will be to stop Gurley. Their offense revolves around him. And frankly that D doesn't scare me one bit.

We put up 44 vs the Jags who 'on paper' as you say are 10x better than the Rams in every area and we didn't even have our full offense.

I'm not worried.

It shortens their window IMO (cap problems coming) even though they gonna be scary this year IF all these players gel in the locker room. Gonna have suh and donald in the same position group. Talib and peters in the same group. Throw in odell (maybe) and it can get bad. A bad locker room can sink a team.
I just heard on NY news station they are interested in trading for ODB???

That locker room would be literally insane

I want to see how Aaron Donald reacts to the Rams giving his big money contract to Suh...

I hope he holds out. Let the drama begin before the season even starts.

They don't have the money to sign him either.

I think it was Snake Plissken that said that (and I am paraphrasing) the Rams are looking to hang a banner early in their LA tenure and then can live off the cachet of that for some time after. Although Snake said it much better and more hot takey (in a good way) than I.

He'd be right. I prefer our strategy.

Yea but much like the Niners, they can draft those pieces. But to your point, Watkins had 8 TDs last year. That production has to go somewhere.

They still have Woods and I expect Kupp to have a monster year.
NFC West 2018 Standings

Niners 12-4
Rams 11-5
Seahawks 6-10
Cardinals 4-12
With Suh and Donald the Rams will have plenty of pressure up the middle, somehow, someway get Nelson.
