You miss 100% of the shots you don't take. I'm not putting all of my eggs in the basket of PR dude who has never had GM experience and someone who just finished their firts year as a HC. I'm sorry, I just can't. I still think they're the right guys for the job, but I can't trust everything they're doing.

Have fun cheering for the Rams.

1.) Extended Goodwin, Coyle, Marsh and Gilliam? Those dudes, with the exception of Goodwin, are depth players. Goodwin is a great deep threat but isn't a factor in the redzone. He's a one-dimensional speedster.

2.) Love the Richburg and McKinnon signings. Cooper is a bust and Attaochu can't stay fit enough to play

3.) Garnett War and Armstead suck.

4.) Wilson is the best QB in the division until proven otherwise

5.) Headcases? Based off of what exactly? Are the criminals? One thing is for sure: they are all-pro bonafide studs. Besides, we've got our own wife-beating pothead headache that we wasted a 1st round pick on.

6.) Alienating their best defensive player is nonsense and pure speculation with nothing to support that claim.

5.) Our off-season was not more productive than their's no matter which way you spin it.

They got 2 stud CBs, a stud 5x Pro Bowler DT, extended Robey-Coleman, signed additional CB depth in Shields. They're lacking on the offensive side of the ball, but they can also make up for that during the draft.

We can downplay their offseason all we want but they downright clowned on the Niners in FA. They did have a head start as it seems they've been rebuilding for some time, but they will be taking the division for the next 2 years guaranteed.

Are you intentionally ignoring the fact that they have no receivers, no TE, no SS and the worst set of linebackers in the league. They run a 3-4 man. Have you seen that group? It's laughable.

That offense is a joke. Stop Gurley and they have no chance.

Everywhere Suh goes they lose. They can have him.

Not sure how anyone can fear the Rams D after seeing what Jimmy did to the Jags last year. That defense was leaps and bounds better than the Rams, and most of those guys had been playing together for at least one full year.

Let's also not forget that for all the headlines they got for their offense, it got shut down by good defenses.

1 TD (7 pts) vs Vikings
1 TD (13 pts) vs Falcons in the playoffs
1 TD (13 pts) vs Jags
1 TD (10 pts) vs Seattle (before everyone got hurt)
To think they made their moves cuz they are in some way scurred of us is laughable and miopic. Attempting to improve their defense, losing 1 good corner and adding 2 in a passing league, giving Wade Phillips more ammo and trying to strike while their window is open after securing their QB of the future is more accurate imo.

Fact is the Rams offense is what let them down in games vs quality opponents last year. They only scored 13 pts against the Falcons in the playoffs. Yet here they are building up their defense, while the offense gets worse.

Rams had a good shot to beat Atlanta. Can't spot a good team 10 points off of ST turnovers tho.

I remember thinking as I watched that game, that Goff isn't very accurate with his throws.

That was the only game I saw him play, but it seemed that he folds under pressure

He doesn't have that pinpoint accuracy like Jimmy does

You missed the memo. cooper and bourne and garcons mouth scared the rams into making these moves

I don't think anyone on this board can argue that on paper the lambs are the most talented team in this division. Does that mean they will win the division? I don't know. Jimmy G has played great and I can see him playing well against their defense. I just don't think we have enough playmakers on both sides to win the division. Not including the Sherman signing which I loved, a lot of our signings have been good but we have definitely overpaid for most of these signings. We need one more major playmaker/game changer in order to compete with the lambs. That player is not available thru free agency. Draft Day Trade????

You do realize there are play makers/game changers in the draft, right?

There are good players available at #9, but who at #9 is a game changer? Chubb, Barkley are definitely gone by then. Is Nelson a game changer if available. My point is a draft pick is unproven. We and the so called experts have no idea how a player will progress once they enter the NFL.
Goff is a BIG question mark.....if it wasn't for McVay telling him who to throw it to he would have a struggled even more this past year

we won't know who is a "game changer" until they actually play, amiright? If everyone knew kareem hunt was gonna be who he is, he wouldn't have been drafted in the 3rd rd. Antonio Brown wouldn't have been a 6th rd pick, Bell wouldn't have been a 2nd rd pick etc...

Donald was consulted before the signing. He is all in.

His big money wasn't given to Suh.

I have a feeling that the Rams know their offense isn't going to carry the team. Either that or it could possibly mean that their head coach is over confident in his system thinking he can have success with his current personnel.

Watch for the Rams to load up on offense in the draft. I'm still not a believer in Goff's ability. Probably a solid QB but he doesn't have that next level. One thing is for sure: it will be fun watching these two teams battle.

More likely than not, teams that load up in the offseason like the Rams are doing end up pressing too hard for success and something ends up blowing up.

On paper...lets see how they do on the field. Remember the SF vs Jags game?

Ikr lol
I saw this and it makes perfect sense:

Al Sacco @AlSacco49

The #49ers shouldn't let what the Rams do effect their long-term plan at all. 1) They don't play the Rams 16 times, and 2) The Rams will be scary for a year or two, I'm more interested in the Niners being scary for the next decade.
