Big contracts the Rams will have to do in the next 1-2 years:

Peters
Donald
Gurley
Goff
Joyner

That's roughly a total of $65M-75M in cap space combined for that group, per year. If they got $100M available to them in the next year or two.... they can definitely add OBJ. They just won't have room for anybody else. Their roster will be 6-7 highly paid guys and a bunch of rookie deals. So, the draft will be critical for them... more than most teams.

Well to be honest with ourselves. We signed a corner coming off an Achilles injury. We had the money to sign a CB or two for depth. We didn't.
Oh yea, I know, they ain't 6' 1" with a 36" reach so they ain't fitting our "scheme"! Lol ok!!
If that's what we need to do to fill a roster, make sure everyone is right "prototypical" size, we are f**ked!!

Might as well go back to balkkes methods.. huge wingspan and make sure the draft picks are told they may need to change positions 2-3 times till we figure it out. Cause we be rebuilding!

I don't believe talib or peters or suh or a few other players they signed are coming off a major injury or, better yet, those players they signed don't miss games. Our roster is filled with people, the same people on IR.
Yet lynch picks up Wards 5th year.

Major blunder and talk about wasting cap space.

Want no part of an old Talib, or an aging declining Suh. Peters is the only addition that is dynamic, and he apparently has some baggage. All the posters here hand wringing before the draft is over, UDFA's are signed and cut players that fit the scheme being added, are just wasting energy. There will be around 20 new players soon. Let the process play out before passing judgement. This team is SO far ahead of where anyone thought they would be this time last year. Just think back and remember to get some perspective.

Les Snead is a top 3 GM in this league IMO. What he's doing is brilliant, not a single one of these acquisitions have technically been a FA signing. So not only have they arguably improved their team the most so far this off season but they're also projected to get two 3rd round and one 7th round compensatory picks next year. And if they don't resign Suh after this season they'll more than likely get another 3rd for him leaving. Ya in a couple years they'll have to replace some players like Talib, Whitworth, Woods, Barron, Saffold and Austin because they'll make too much and/or be too old but having to much talent isn't usually a problem.

Some of you guys make me sick. Go be Lamb fans, if you like what they're doing so much! We're supposed to be scared of Talib, Peters, and Suh? I can't roll my eyes hard enough.... No, really, give me a break... Why not just forfeit the games since the Rams already won according to you all 😂😂

Anyone remember the 2012 Eagles...

This rams team is filled with so many different kinds of locker room cancers it very well could repeat those eagles....

Improved their team the most?

Lost their best WR.
Traded their best outside pass rusher and signed a run stuffer.
Lost their best CB and replaced him with a much older Talib.
Added Peters.

Their improvement is extremely over-rated.

I'm sorry but no GM is considered top 3 when they give Tavon Austin the contract the Rams gave him.

Not to mention he was handed a friggin gift by the Skins due to the RG3 trade which was basically #6 overall, #22 overall and #2 overall picks which they moved around for other picks to receive the following(copy/paste from article covering the trade)

Michael Brockers (good defensive tackle)
Janoris Jenkins (signed by Giants in free agency)
Isaiah Pead (lost part of leg in car crash)
Rokevious Watkins (no longer on team)
Alec Ogletree (good linebacker)
Stedman Bailey (involved in scary off-field incident)
Zac Stacy (no longer on team)
Greg Robinson (benched this year)

The only guy still on the team 6 years later is Brockers and they pretty much pushed him to the bench with the Suh signing.

i think people can give credit to another team for improving themselves and not have to be slapped with some juvenile label. i could ask you if the rams are supposed to be scared of cooper eli ward and bourne but i will refrain
They need a QB... if you guys are scared of Goff, you are fools.. He sucks.

That's the huge risk with that team.

A city that has a tough media, a young HC even though he found early success, a qb that had a good season but still needs to prove it, and hotheads like peters and talib combined with a dirty player in suh. If that team loses even 2 games in a row, that locker room could get heated.
