He plays with passion and is just whoop yer ass good. I don't find him cheap or dirty or any of that. He's just really good which usually also means really aggressive. Other than being a little too aggressive at times I've never really heard or read any bad about him.

There is nothing wrong w AD. One of the best players in the game on all aspects. Golden.

I have no answers on his contract, but no there is nothing wrong with him and yes Rams value him.

For this season tho. If AD does not agree to his terms w Rams, he is going to play all out to prove he is worth some other team paying him QB money.

That's against Niners twice. I'd say that's the only that matters to fans here.

Can you not read? It's a 4 year extension on a 2 year contract.

2+4=6.

Or it did when I was in school.

Relax, Mary. My point stands that the extension takes him to age 29, which is when RBs slow down. Regarding the length of the extension, it's a good deal for your little lambs.

Nice to have a new, snarky member to the board. We really don't have enough
Rams ain't s**t!!
Rams will be fine. The cap this year alone is $177.2M and it seems to rise a few million each year.

Per OTC, the Rams are committed to about $137M of the 51 in 2019 (Talib and Peters still on the roster through 2019).

Plenty of room to sign, basically 2 QB's in Goff and Donald. Donald first, will command $17-$20M APY. Talib/Peters will probably be off the books for 2020 at the same time they need to pay Goff which will be in the $25-30+M.

They'll probably have to go younger at both CB spots unless they can extend Peters.

Anyone else they need to resign?

I always chuckle when fans think a team in this era will get in salary cap hell. Too many ways to manipulate the cap today. If you want a guy, go get him. That's what the Rams, Jax and Bears did.

Thanks...that's where they'll have to get more creative in contact extensions...highly doubt Suh stays beyond this year. It would be darn near impossible for any team to have the two highest paid DT's on the same DL.

I agree. I always thought this was a 1 year rental for Suh. They can't give out franchise contracts to Gurley, Goff, Donald, Suh, Peters etc. You have to pay the role players to be successful which is why the Redskins failed year after year while winning the offseason in FA with huge contracts.

Agreed...lots of ways to move money around with frontloads, extensions lowering cap hits, restructures, etc.

You can't pay everyone obviously BUT there's a lot you can do to take care of your core.

Glad getting through 8th grade paid off for you.
Those 7-11's scooping you right up.
Hopefully the Rams keep spending money and piss of Aaron Donald that we swoop him up
@ericsgeller: Just got confirmation. SOURCES: L.A. @RamsNFL offering @AaronDonald97 4 yr. $21M per making AD highest paid D player in NFL history. AD's agent "insulted" by offer. He's looking for north of $25M per for AD which is QB $$. Not going to happen, nor should it. #MobSquad #SignAD99
