I think he deserved to be in the top 100, he's clearly one of the better at his position. Maybe this pushes him to get even better.

He was only 2nd in sacks for an interior lineman behind only Aaron Donald this year with 12 and also had 67 takles. He also made the pro bowl. That's definitely top 100 worthy, not sure how he is ranked as the #23 DI on PFF. That just shows a flaw in their formula.

But he only got into the Pro Bowl as an alternate right?
I'm thinking there couldn't be a better time to sign him to an extension. He's arguably the best or second best player on the roster and yet maybe this isn't as obvious around the league.

Buckner not making the top 100 means the list is terrible, not that Buckner isn't good.

It's ridiculous how this kid does not get the respect he deserves, he was the only threat on the D-Line that O-Lines had to truly gameplan for a d he still went off this year, straight bs, watch when the niners get a real Edge and Hopefully Thomas exceeds inside with AA at big end, he's going to be ever more of a problem
