We should still have Armstead and Solly who can handle run stopping duties in base defense. Plus Alexander & Warner will be strong against the run....

And let's face it, having a good solid run defense is easier than a strong pass rush. To some extent it can be schemed once you have enough front 7 talent......but pass rush requires studs.

Now we've got both. Sit back and enjoy.

I have not looked forward to a Seahawk game this far in advance in god knows how long......

I thought the Herschel Walker trade built up that OL?

Interestingly enough, outside of Erik Williams and maybe Nate Newton, don't think they had any 1st rounders on the OL.

The run? We were already a good run defense and now we have more depth so run defense should be no problem.

Our run D was 7th overall in the NFL last yr (YPC). Bosa was one of the best run defending DE in the draft...so yes we will be just fine there

Buckner has to be the happiest guy on the team, suddenly having two bona fide pass rushers drawing attention away from him.

We improved our run defense significantly under Saleh, have we not? Why would we be any worse with the new guys?

Seriously, on paper our lbs will be better and we just added two beasts in the edge.

Buck is a monster and I think he is underrated from a league standpoint but realistically when is the last time the 49ers have had someone who hasn't been viewed that way? When the team overall isn't good most of that actual good players get overlooked.

he's got the potential to be great, but all last year, I saw nothing but a HAUDINI magic from this guy..

he'd be there during the 1st quarter, then wont hear his name all game long after...

time to be GREAT YOUNG BUCK, time to be GREAT !!!
