C'mon dude...

Create list and show the man where he's wrong. It's certainly debatable but I'm curious to see by how much you believe he's off. If he's not the 2nd, is it 3rd? 4th? Worst in the league? Back up your argument.

I'll even help get you started
1. Donald
2. You're up

This is a Niners fan site. So I understand logic and reason is often tossed aside in favor of fan-ism. I didn't make the argument he's a top 2 talent. Tell me how he is. Make a convincing case.

By the way -- saying Buckner is not "elite" or a top 2-3 talent doesn't qualify as hating. People act like there aren't legit elite players along the DL across this league.

Convince me he's right. Go.

Exactly what I'm trying to point out here.. the guy is GOOD, he's ON THE WAY to becoming a SUPERSTAR...

.. but c'mon, he's not THERE yet..

Defo is closer to being a superstar than Russ Wilson is.

What the f**k are you all babbling about? Superstar? A super star is someone that is talented and famous, talked about constantly, on commercials, being interviewed, etc.

Sometimes talent isn't as important and it's more about location, personality and so on.

Buckner is one of the best defensive linemen in the NFL. But he is NOT a superstar.

Based on talent, ability and production he is. Buckner doesn't seem like the kind of guy who really gives a s**t about doing all kinds of endorsements, commercials and being on TV outside of football.
Seriously who gives a f**k if Buckner is a superstar or not. Jesus Christ can football just get here already.

don't forget that what I bolded... some may and/or will argue about Wilson.. but to me, he's earned that label.. Brady and Brees are in the decline, but they are SUPERSTARS..

again, as for the TOP 5 DTs, it does not mean that all FIVE are SUPERSTARS..

Because if Brady - Brees - Ben - Rivers all retire now.. then you're left with Aaron and Wilson as the ONLY SUPERSTARS as a QB..

as good as Mahomes - Jimmy - Matt and the other young guns are, they just are NOT superstars yet..

to make a long story short, you can put those guys on the TOP 5 at their position tho they aren't superstars yet.

Again like you said it's all opinions

This s**t got so blown out of proportion
Defensive tackle isn't generally a position that produces superstars anyway. Guys that are known by people who may or may not even watch football. Aaron Donald is the best interior defensive lineman in the NFL, maybe the best of his generation, possibly one of the best in NFL history and I don't even think he would qualify as a superstar, not if we're going by a definition of fame/recognition by people who don't watch football.
Double post, thanks Webbie

If that's the case the only superstars in the NFL are QBs and maybe one of two WRs

If this is the case... Can you tell me if the DTs below were Stars or Superstars?

Bryant Young
Dana Stubblefield
Warren Sapp
John Randle
Richard Seymour
Gods, I forgot where I was.
