I guess I don't understand the connection between huge hands and ability to play football.
That said, I met Armstead last year and that guy has some mitts! Crazy to hear that Buckner has even bigger hands than Armstead!

If you have to get punched in the face, and both guys have equal skill, do you choose the guy with the average sized hand or the guy with the hand bigger than your face?
For a DL bigger hands help with leverage, controlling the blocker as well as the initial punch, plus a wider radius for knocking down passes.
