I get that fans want to use dramatic adjectives when playing up their favorite players. I suppose that's why we're "fanatics". But let's pump the breaks.

If you have been paying any close attention, the guy gets doubled all the time.

oh boy not this again
Look out for the Molten Lava!!!

Please provide the official criteria for being a Superstar.

He meets my criteria.

#1 is false. Other fans know who Buckner is, as I visit other team forums and their fans know who he is. When we wanted to trade for OBJ, I saw Giants fans wanting to get Buckner as well with the Niners first round pick for the trade.

He doesn't meet mine. So here we are.

Well, kid, he sure as heck meets the eyeball test with 2 guys hanging onto him or dragging him en route to the QB. Just think how hard it is to bust thru 2 guys weighing a combined 660 lbs that has 4 legs and 4 arms. You do that , think about how that has been virtually ever play he has made since coming here, and then you tell me that he isn't a superstar.

I will tell you this. Ask Bosa if you think Buck is a superstar. Most of Nicks sacks are because 2 or sometimes 3 guys are wrapped around Buck and he still moves the pile, wihether 660 lbs with 4 arms or 990 lbs with 6 arms. You dont thiink that is a superstar, then fine. Far as i am concerned, Buck is the epitome of SUPERSTAR. And he still gets pressure with all that beef against him.

But when is he most impressive? It's when Dee comes off the edge, Arik is singled or doubled, and in tha case , look at Buck to take the QB down ether before the pass or just after.

A lot of the sacks happen when someone is getting doubled. It may be a different guy each time depending on the play call but every guy in our line is capable of getting a sack if the guy next to him gets doubled. That's the beauty of this team.

Oh I had all my NY buddies licking their chops to get Buck in a trade lol. They knew the 2nd overall pick wasn't realistic.
I thought Buckner was on IR. Is he still playing?

Don't worry, I expect him to show up when it doesn't count.

5 of Buckner's 12 sacks last year were off of him beating double teams. That's absolutely fantastic.

I love Buckner, but that was pretty funny.
