They wouldn't had the 13th pick if they kept Buckner.

But your point still stands. I would have traded AA for a 2nd or 3rd round pick, re-signed Buckner and draft BPA at 31.

Every draft pick has to be pro bowler or at least a starter and every free agent move has to work out perfect. If not then the wannabe GMs come out in force.

When you trade a Pro Bowler in his prime then yeah you got to land on his replacement. If you're shipping out Justin Smith for Soloman Thomas you might get some backlash.
