Patriots picks him up and the guy becomes the best OG (All Pro even) outside the kid from Indy... then them RAIDERS sign him as the highest paid OG in the league

Dude just couldn't stay healthy, sucks for him cause he has some talent. With the league wide need for OL I won't be surprised to see him snagged off waivers

Was he really that bad that it's better to cut him and roll the dice with another player (who another team didn't want) than to keep Garnett?

Not surprising after his sluggish performance Thursday night. Much better options likely to be out there via waiver wire for a backup OG.
