Right forgot about him. Only? Is right tackle. Can brown bring it?

I believe he can. More importantly, Staley believes he can. And FU Anthony Davis.
Seattle definitely wanted to take Garnett. Glad we got a player that really wants to play in red and gold. Got some lineage too, father played for the Niners for a season too!

4th and a 6th???

We also gave up our 2nd

This guy is worth it tho. He's a 10 year starter

2nd?

I thought it was just 4th and 6ht???

How would a 4th and 6th get you a 1st? Lol

LOL that's what i'm saying!! and people were complaining that we gave up too much before they knew we gave up our 2nd rounder

This makes me feel a little better. Also, some brought up that division rivals may have been interested in him. Hope it's true.
for a coach thats accused of being finesse, he gets two nasty and physical players. Love it! Hyde mustve loved that pick.

You want to know why we traded up? Leapfrog the Cardinals, and snag Garnett and keep him for 5 years with the rookie deals that are first round picks.

5-year contract is also a great point.

Yea I'm a believer in having that 5th yr option especially if this dude balls outta control

Good drafters target players they want and go get them. If it costs a forth and a swap of 6th for a 7th...no big loss considering twelve picks. They have two 4ths so really they are still in good shape for other positions. Would like to see them move up into the 2nd tomorrow and try to get a pass rusher. Unless I missed something, Spence and Ogbah are still on the board. Getting either would make this a monster draft filling the three biggest needs except a Hall of Fame QB...which wasn't available.
And with who the seahawks picked, mskes the trade more applaudable.
Seattle was all over Garnett if we didnt move up. Great work Baalke!!
Great but they say he need work in pass blocking. they gave up way to many sacks last year and he need work on pass blocking. he may not start from day one.

Then why did they trade? Oh, right, we gave them the rest of our draft.
Garnett played in their backyard so they must've had a good read. I like the fact that they went after the guy they wanted after Buckner fell in their lap.
