I like it. We have helped shore up the trenches on both side of the ball. Thats exactly what i wanted us to do. This game is won and lost on the line.

Love it!
While he wasn't generally impressive in 2014, Germain Ifedi regressed to a negative overall grade in 2015. #Seahawks

Kiper hated the pick, and stated that he was 60 something on his prospect list.

Kiper hates the pick, actually. Keeps saying he was his #67 ranked pick. Everybody else seems to like the pick, though, that I've seen.

We also gave up our 2nd
This guy is worth it tho. He's a 10 year starter
Cool, and just learned we picked up a 7th

I was really, really hoping for Jack when we traded up (would have exploded with excitement at a successful day) and was disappointed when it wasn't him. On top of it, NFLN gave this pick a D.
But then Seattle took an OG of their own at 31. So now the trade-up makes much more sense. To top it off, Jack is still on the board! I know it's a long shot, but maybe our third this year and a second next year and we can jump in and get him?

I love the player. I worry about the scheme fit.

There's a reason Kiper isn't on an NFL team.

His coach, David Shaw, said that he needs work as a pass protector. Tired of seeing us get murdered with pressure right up the middle. At least Martin will not be starting for us next year.
The niners have spent a lot of 1st and 2nd round picks on interior lineman over the last decade, and didn't get much out of them: Rachel, Smiley, Baas, Iupati, Martin....

Then why did they trade? Oh, right, we gave them the rest of our draft.
Good question, I assume they thought he would still be available and Niners jumped. At first I was bit confused/pissed. Loving it more and more now. Look what they ended up with.

I like this pick. Our guards sucked last year with no relief in sight. Exit left for marcus martin or devey.
