I would assume Saleh will be calling and help setup his defense. He was a consummate pro and was like a second coach when he was here from what I read before. He would be a nice depth and a positive influence for their young group. Wish him the best as he was a good rotational player for us.

Sad to see him go, I'd bet good money that he finds his way to the Jets. Great advert for maximising talent.

A couple of peeps have mentioned how Baalke will want him back and that's probably true af.
However, since Lynch surpassed Baalkaca at having a hard on for injured players, it's a head scratcher for sure why he gone

Pete's gonna catch him before he gets on that flight to NY. Seattle loves our ex-players with a chip on their shoulder.
But I do wonder if he has lost some of his explosiveness after all these years + injuries.

I bet Jets or Jags. Both make way too much sense.

Why releasing him now?
he was going to be à FA in the next few day: if someone sign him he won't count in the free agency complementary picks no?

Why did they cut him and not try to re-sign him ?? Is he still injured?

I think the talent is still there, but , of course, lessened by the surgery. For us tho, the reason is we have tried patching together a team with injured hx, and it failed. For six straight yrs. we are going, I believe, in the direction of excellent talent and NO injury hx.

Agreed. Wonder where he is in rehab at the moment?
