He's best suited to be at DE, and there will be plenty of snaps for him I imagine.

No, he is very strong against the run. Just an all-around 3-4 DE prospect that should be able to rotate in and out, get a lot of snaps.

Not sure if edge rushing is really his strength. This is actually a good article on him, GIFS included:

(Although I feel a little bad since it's a Lions guy that wanted the pick doing the film study)

I don't understand how guys like this fall so far in the draft.
Blair is strong and plays blue-collar football. He's not a great athlete but is the type of player Mike Mayok would label as a "good football player" and at 6'2", 284lbs, he's close to being an NFL-sized DE.
Love this pick!

Love this pick!
he played at a small school. Small school=weak competition.

The combo of some sort of lineup consisting of Buckner, Armstread, Carradine, Lynch, Dial, Brooks, Blair, and Harold in a 4-2-5 scheme is exciting. Lots of potential.

I like the pick. We needed better depth along the d-line. Blair is a disruptive player. Very productive against the pass and run. Leap in competition to the NFL, but he is a legit NFL athlete.

Seems like an inside guy in the 3 and/or the 4. This pick is growing on me.
