Another pre-season all-star who was invisible during the regular season.

Maybe because they refuse to play him. 66 snaps total so far.

This is why O'Neill is garbage, u might have something special with Blair and the only way to figure it out is to play him, over Dorsey, Over Purcell, Over TJE, they should be sitting the bench..rotate Dial, Buckner, AA, Blair..I read Baalkes job is safe, I sure hope O'Neills isn't..

Blair looked pretty good week 1 in limited snaps. He needs more to really settle in. Rotate him with AA, DeFo, and Dial more. I want to see what he can do. O'Neill said he would play all over but he hasn't shown a willingness to play him for long stretches.
A new DC is needed in a bad way, and Baalke had better be gone at the end of the year. I say have Tarver take over for the rest of the year and hire someone with a proven track record in the offseason.

Blair should get some of Brooks snaps. In the nickel especially, I'd want to see Lynch - Armstead - Buckner - Blair

Brooks is nursing a hamstring too...play Blair and see what happens.

I am getting increasingly concerned with O'Neils' playcalls and personnel management. Blair and Skov both need to be getting more snaps. I understand they've seen what they can do in practice, but we all know what happens in practice doesn't always translate to games. They need a chance, an opportunity to grow.

I wasn't sure at first, but considering our putrid pass rush and totally underwhelming play of Harold and Tank... I think the team needs to have Blair drop some weight and convert into an OLB. When Melvin Ingram came out he was on the heavier side and he struggled early. He dropped down to about 260 and became a very good player and also was able to stay healthier.
Since we have the cap space, keep Brooks as a veteran backup, continue to develop Marcus Rush, and draft/sign two or three more pass-rushers in 2017. I'd then cut or trade Harold and Carradine.
Come into 2017 with an OLB group of: Lynch, Blair, Brooks, Rush, [FA/Rook], [FA/Rook], [FA/Rook]

Totall agree!
IMO, the season is done and we need to get our young guys as much experience as we can.
As long as we can get a 1 or a 2 or a 3 pick in the draft - I don't care if we lose the rest of the games.
I don't consider myself a defeatist but IMO it's time for some drastic and monumental chage.
If Jed is at the helm - we won't get it.
If Trent remains - we're toast for the next 5 years.
ANF I have zero confidence in Chip.
I don't have answers that will create any miracles.
Just some radical ideas that probably won't work either.
#1 - Denise York needs to orchestrate a "Hostile" takeover and send Jed to the woodshed.
#2 Fire Trent and reorganize the FO
#3 Play as many young guys as possible to see what we really have and then cull the herd
# 4 Make an action plan for the future
