who the heck was # 93??

How did he get to play while RUSH continues to watch from the sideline..

Chris Jones, we picked him up a week or two ago. I actually saw him hold his own when he was in. didnt get pushed back too much

But i agree. I cant believe the coaching staff hasnt elevated Rush to the roster and see what he can do. We know carradine is no good, so we might as well see what Rush can do in limited time. Time to start prepping for next year

Have we even tried Tank in rushing off the edge? It seems like he's used in one package and that is always to just drop back and cover somebody 20 yards down the field. I ask b/c it seems like even if we did bring up Rush, would O'Neil just have him do the same thing? It may be that Harold/Tank are poor at pass rushing mixed in with limited TRUE opportunities from the true pass rush position (WILL).

Yes. He bull rushes and gets swallowed up by the OL. He needs to learn pass rushing moves....on another team.

yeah ive seen him pass rush and it only takes one offensive lineman to keep him busy while he applies zero pressure

LOL. I'll take your word for it...I certainly haven't been paying attention to him.

Jones is a LDE playing for Dial (who was hurt). And thank God too b/c if it wasn't him playing and playing well, it would be TJE starting instead.

Jones was actually our highest rated defender according to PFF. Take it for what it's worth, but he's definitely better than TJE

Blair should be at olb.

Yup. Tank gotta learn some of that.

That is one of the issues with getting a ACL guy. He's rehabbing getting his feet together in his first year or two. Meanwhile Blair is working on pass rush moves and getting game experience. That wasn't a perfect rip move but a good start.

NOOOOOOOOOO !!!!

Opposing teams will have a field day when they see THE BLAIRWITCH PROJECT dropping into coverage..
This guy was built for the 4-3.. if he can hold his own as an OLB on run downs and sniff drags in front of him we got a 3 down or maybe at worst a two down player that's especially great for third downs in that DT spot in our 3-4.

He's looking pretty good. I wish he would get more playing time.

He's 290 why would you ever move him to olb? He's potentially the 3rd best lineman on the team.
3-4 DE is our deepest position on the team and in the future. We are set. Add 1 good NT and we are in great shape on the D-Line
