He's a keeper imo.
Blair will make Armstead expendable after the season is done.

Dude might even be a better fit than AA at the 3T. Don't sleep on this one...this new defense fits him well.

Blair and Thomas would wreak havoc.

My dude Chris Jones showed me more last year than AA has

LMFAO. I used to call my little brother that when he was little.
Bump this guy seems to be forgotten but I believe he is going to grow into a nice rotational player possibly even a starter down the road

Blair, Jones and Dial will get plenty of action, a good DL needs to have fresh legs rotating in
I think he's better than AA.

Could end up a starter on this line.

We may be overlooking the production this guy may bring. Seems to be a decent rusher and may blossom in Year 2. Would be a nice piece.

I agree I think Blair could be a difference maker. He was not cut out for the 3-4 defense, but this 4-3 scheme is perfect for him!
I happen to be up in Seattle right now, God, please forgive me my sins, and the Hawks drafted a 6'6" 3T. Both Pete and John noted they've been looking for a guy like McDowell at the 3T since they started working together. Saleh comes in and he's got the "big boys" working the 3T too in Buckner, Dial, Jones, etc. AA will take snaps there too. This tells me, with a 1T and now the big boys at the 3T, this is a way to be stout and active inside on running downs and then slide in Thomas or Blair at the 3T for pass rushing downs...bring in your edge rushers.

So many of these defensive positions, we're going to have bigger base personnel and then more pass rushers on passing downs. So it's not traditional but still has a chance to be a solid tactic.
