I like Driskel. At times he seems like the best quarterback on the field.

#49ers QB Jeff @jeffdriskel had a nice day IMO. In 1st session of 11-on-11 went 3-for-3 (100% completion rate).

Nice of him to calculate the percentage for us.
THE GOOD
5. QB Jeff Driskel. Completed 5 of 8 passes during team drills (one pass was dropped). Also made the best throw of practice – a 20-yard strike over the head of cornerback Prince Charles Iworah and into the hands of Dres Anderson while rolling left.
Goes through progressions efficiently. Surprisingly accurate, even when rolling out. Throws with anticipation. Protects the football. Faster and more elusive than Kaepernick.

At least he measures better than previous pipe dreams. Does someone know all the other backup QBs that we thought may have something in the last 10 years?
Troy Smith - damaged good
Nate Davis - too small
Scott Tolzien - no "it" factor
David Carr - damaged goods
Trent Dilfer - mediocre
Shaun Hill - great character, but noodle arm
JTO Sullivan - pick machine
Cody Pickett - can't remember
Ken Dorsey - noodle arm?
Has the size, big arm, and speed. Will it translate to the NFL? One can only hope...
