Very happy to land driskel. He was a big target of mine once we knew we wouldn't be in the market for Goff or Wentz. Id rather grab driskel in the late 6th then Dak in the 4th.

Oh noes we would have missed out on torn acl thug cb.
I'm a Florida Gator fan and alum. I saw every game Driskel played in while at UF and I will say he was unfortunately the result of poor coaching, poor offensive scheme, and bad luck.
The guy has all the tools. Did very well his first year as a full time starter and led our team to an 11-2 record. Including beating FSU :). The next year he has a freak injury, and then the following year the fan base that was calling for a change because our offense could not consistently move the ball. We were spoiled and used to scoring points, not depending on our defense to bail us out.
The years Muschamp was head coach were some of the worst offensive seasons ever at UF. Coaching was to blame for not developing players. If you look at our rosters from his years at UF, we have several players from the offensive side of the ball who are starting on Sundays. And even more who are on rosters. Poor player development!
Notice another QB had poor development while at UF, Jacoby Brissett, and he was also drafted in this draft after excelling at NC State.
I always rooted for Driskel to succeed. He's a team player and a good guy. I think he can further develop in the right situation and become a really solid QB. The tools are there.
