Missed that one.Forgot he was part of the international pathways where they get automatic 1 year on practice squad and aren't eligible to play until next season. I worry that he will be 30 by then.

Dusted this ol thread off to hype up watching live any team to beat the Rams in Melbourne Australia in 2026
Crossing everything that the Niners can be the other team.
It will sell out very quickly and be a huge spectacle. 100,000 spectators.
Only reservation is that this a large Olympic style oval stadium and us fans will be so far away from the game you will need binoculars.

that is interesting. frankly the travel is the big sticking point, as a flight to melbourne is approx 16 hours. so we really need supersonic air travel so it's not so taxing to pull this off mid nfl season.

But you are right. They may need to schedule this close to Bye week for the respective teams.

Congrats to Jordan Mailata on being the first to play in a Super Bowl winning team that came from Australia.
This is especially noteworthy because he is not a punter.

NCAA scholarship system for internationals under heavy scrutiny for fraud. Could end up as a closed shop for those punter imports?
