Aussies and Kiwis in the NFL

Still doesn't sit with me. 60 Minutes showed JH did not have a plan B. One thing with JH , since Cabramatta League days at 14 year old, he has stayed loyal to his team mates, I feel there was signs where he was not going to make it this year, even though I believe he would of if given the chance.
That might of changed his mind.
So many RB'S and the coaches would not let him return kicks the free and easy way he wanted too.
He did not want to try another NFL team as that would be turning his back on the players & play against them.
He has never quit a side to play against them throughout his career but there could be always a first??. We may never know all the reasons today. And sadly I did not get to see him play to his potential in the NFL either, But as a niners fan I thank him for the highlights reel in one of the most non event years in the last 30.

I agree with this, at least on the surface he look really piss weak. I think there is more too it and think he was pushed. I wonder if he will resurface in another NFL squad this season or if he is gone for good?

Fiji 7s is just BS

All it would've taken to make a team was for hayne to have another flashy preseason. I don't really get what's going through heins mind tbh.

Sadly I agree Nike, Its a dam shame, Wish he would of had coach Kelly talk him out of it before he went public..

He has the absolutely worst adviser ever lol. First he received two choices play for free for a contender in Seattle or for a rebuilding team with rookie coaches which is us the Niners, then he instead of Training in america with real pro coaches he defaults to Aussie land with second grade football coaching. And to top it all off he quits the team before even giving the preseason a chance.

I think he was feeling the pressure to make the team and then the Fijian rugby 7's come along and give him an easy out. Who even knows if he will be eligible to represent Fiji at the Olympics?.

Yeah he should have stayed in America. He never really gave it his all. Perhaps he is afraid of failure.

I wonder who was advising him to run this BS story of the Fiji 7s and the Olympics? They should be shot at dawn.

Hayne must have been pushed by management. It goes against the grain he would just cop out

From the sound of this article Hayne and his management are saying Chip was happy with his progress and they are denying he jumped because the writing was on the wall. It does look like Taylor being picked in the draft has changed things.

I just can't believe Hayne would jump without having a go to shine in the pre-season.

It feels to me we are being sold a pup of the Rugby 7s in the Olympics. It has a whiff about it.

But if that is what he really decided well I note his Australian manage is Mr Beavis so that means Hayne must be Butthead
