Team was soft before Sing took over. VD looked like a bust until he chewed him out. VD has talked about how that helped him and thanks Sing for it.
He was a bad coach, but he did help with getting the team tough. JH didnt have to worry about that part, which helped.
no he did not. when he said a qb is not important. that should have told you all you needed to know right there.

the amount of good that came out of dennis e.. mike s.. jt and chip can be fit into a thimble. mike nolan could pick and draft players. he just was a terrible coach with terrible people skills.

He was our coach like a decade ago. The only player left was Joe Staley. Now it's nobody. He may of had some impact on our success from 11-14 but now? Not a chance.

Singletary. Got it from Bill Walsh via Mike Shanahan. It lapsed after Mooch until Kyle, the exceptions being Singletary and Harbaugh.
