I've seen Jackson in a few games...he really reminds me of RG III. Great runner, can be a decent passer, but inconsistent. He's a guy who might need to switch positions to play in the NFL. Yet another Heisman winner who may not make it in the NFL.

The kid is a beast and at 19 years old he is just going to get better. He's a leader with swag, but if you got it you got it....

Don't know if you've noticed, but if you can't win from the pocket in the NFL, you won't last long as a QB. Case in point, see the final four QB's in the NFL playoffs, they will light you up from the pocket without running 10 yards in a game. Give me an nonathletic-accurate-poised QB all day over some speed demon QB with a laser rocket arm.

He's not 30 like Kap he's a 19 year old kid still learning how to play, except he has the god given tools to dominate at his level already. Unless your telling me you can see this kids future and that he won't develop any further than he has.

A lot of bad NFL quarterbacks had those tools in college but never made it because they failed to develop as passers. Can Jackson improve? Sure. But his "tools" arent exactly indicative of future NFL success either. In college, if you can run really well with the football and throw it a mile, you can destroy the competition.

In the NFL, you'd better be able to sit back and pick a team apart from the pocket otherwise you'll just be another flashy inconsistent college quarterback.

Take away his running ability (which most NFL defenses will do) what do you have? A inconsistent passer, no accuracy, can't read a defense, runs a offense that isn't even close to anything in the NFL etc.

Like I said take away the running and you'll see games like his last one vs LSU

153 yards passing, COMP 37%, ZERO TDs, 22 yards rushing

stop with the only reason he's compared to Vick because he's black BS...everyone compares him to Vick, I could even say Tebow.

Kid needs to learn to be a QB.

Just expressing my opinion. But, I'm gonna have to lean towards yes, he will never learn to dominate from the pocket at the next level, that's just not who he is as a QB. Once you develop the tendency to take off from the pocket, it will be hard to shake those types of bad habits in the Pro's I've seen it many times. Show me an NFL team that is consistently in the playoffs with the type of QB Lamar Jackson is (And please do not say Russell Wilson)?

He can run like Vick but throws like gabbert. The RG3 comp doesn't fit, he doesn't have that cannon arm.

Yeah talk to Cam Newton and Russell Wilson about that and those guys are built like tanks compared to Jackson.
