I like the way this guy thinks. Carlos Hyde needs some competition in the backfield.

The funny thing is, he just won the heisman as a QB! Just imagine his growth potential for next year and his years in the NFL?

So did Tim Tebow and Johnny Manziel among many great college football players who didn't amount to anything in the NFL

Pretty sure Tim Tebow won the heisman as a QB...look at his HOF QB career in the NFL.
i would take Rosen over Jackson anyday. Rosen reminds be alot of Matt Ryan. Chances are that Rosen will be very underrated given that he doesnt have alot of talent around him. UCLA sucks at recruiting offensive weapons.

I would be fine with accumulating alot of picks for next year to ensure our ability to move up if need be. This draft we can concentrate on rebuilding the defense and possibly getting Rosen some weapons, like Williams or Davis

Neither of those guys are as dynamic as Jackson! I liked Manziel, but he loved drugs more than football and everyone knew that except the Cleveland Browns.

The Jesus freak was never a true QB, but if you look at Jackson's abilities to throw and run he is going to be great! Not to mention he is very smart so he can learn a lot from a good QB coach. Tebow couldn't throw the football, and wouldn't work on his technique.

Jackson doesn't have those problems.

I saw Rosen play in High School a few times, great kid with some serious talent!

Tim Tebow is in the arguement for greatest College Football player in the past few decades. Along with Reggie Bush. Who was extremely dynamic in college then had a lackluster pro career. I hope Jackson can develop a passing game it's just history has shown that it doesn't happen often.

Yea if i were him I'd be passing all day everyday and watching film. All that running is instincts. He doesn't appear to be that big also. so that's not going to help. Good thing is he has 2 years to improve. So time will tell.

He's going to wind up injured if he tries to run it that much in the NFL. He's certainly got time to improve, I mean Dak Prescott made tremendous improvement but its going to take a lot of hard work and the most difficult thing for Jackson is resisting the urge to take off and run. He's going to have to learn to stay in the pocket and be patient, to wait for receivers to get open downfield instead of just looking at his first read and taking off. You might be able to run for 7 or 8 yards but its no credit to you if you missed a guy open 25 yards downfield. Its a struggle that all super athletic quarterbacks have to fight, that urge to take off and go.
This is the QB I want next year!

I would like him for Madden but that's the only way I want him taking snaps for niners until I see him develope as a passer.
