It's not, if you can't protect your QB for 2-3 seconds you can't run a function offense. It's common sense.
You don't say lol. It is common sense and I think you're missing my point. Every QB deals with pass protection issues, this isn't just a Viking or Kirk Cousins thing lol.

I doubt this is sustainable for a full year, but to this point they've evidently played really well; Cousins has been abysmal this year in spite of that - the guy is on pace right now for a full season of 2,900 yards, 12 TD, and 8 INT. Cousins will improve, but with good OL play this year he's been horrible so far.
If you watch their game or even the extended 10 min highlights you will see the line is giving up pressure almost immediate every play. They are definitely better at running blocking than pass protection, like our o-line in that way.
But...

Cousins can only flourish when everything's ideal...great protection, potent running game, receivers getting open all over the field and the defense playing at an elite level. Even then, at times he struggles. Just don't believe he's close to being worth what the Vikes are paying for him.

He isn't very good. Makes some nice throws now and then. Just overall mediocre though.
