I was wondering why they called a time out. Now i know.
This is what happened (unsure if the television broadcast picked it up).
First off, the crowd was really loud at this time. The Vikings broke the huddle a little bit late and Cousins went to line up under center. He noticed that Jefferson and another player were lined up on the wrong side of the field. He tried to motion/yell to them to move and they didnt hear/see him. He then went sprinting over to that side of the field and physically grabbed them and moved them. Then he rushed back to take the snap and went to the wrong spot.
The entire setup of the play was a clusterf**k, starting with Jefferson and another player lining up on the wrong side of the field. But, of course, Cousins looked really really stupid.
I think you are giving Kirk too much credit . My theory is this video was going through his head at the moment
Just repeating what I saw with my own eyes. I dont know how any QB could line up under the wrong player, but he was clearly rushing because of his two guys being in the wrong place.
dude is an absolute dumbass. embarrassing display on that fourth down lining up behind wrong player LMFAO. wouldn't surprise me if he gets covid next week because he doesn't believe it is real.
this type of QB is someone that everyone knows will never win a super bowl but puts up decent stats so they think he is good/very good QB. vikings future is f**ked with him at QB (kellen mond is a huge bust also). Hopefully they extend him for big bucks at the end of the year.

Cousins made some nasty throws yesterday. gotta give him his props
Yup underrated and has a bad rap with fans.. but the league knows what he can do. I really like this new HC and think over time the offense will be more potent. They haven't had a fire on all cylinders game yet.

Throws a pretty ball in the regular season. Then folds in the playoffs. A deep run is more likely with Jimmy G than him.
How does the fold in the playoffs make a distinction between the two?

people get beat up, tired... under reported head contact...it happens. I don't remember if it was Steve Young or Joe Montana, but one of them lined up at guard early in their career and I remember thinking this is not a good start.
It happens every few years in the NFL by various QBs.

He can't win in the playoffs is the distinction. A regular season pretender. Jimmy G can win games in the playoffs. Watch Cousins get bounced this year in the playoffs too. You know he will.

Lol nope. Kirk opens up the entire field unlike Jimmy. I agree they're in the same tier (middle of the pack), but Kirk has lot more to offer and if Kyle had stuck with his guns and waited for Kirk instead of trading for Jimmy, we'd have 2 Super Bowl rings to our name.
