Throws a pretty ball in the regular season. Then folds in the playoffs. A deep run is more likely with Jimmy G than him.
Lol nope. Kirk opens up the entire field unlike Jimmy. I agree they're in the same tier (middle of the pack), but Kirk has lot more to offer and if Kyle had stuck with his guns and waited for Kirk instead of trading for Jimmy, we'd have 2 Super Bowl rings to our name.
Garbage playoff QB. Folds quickly under the big lights and big time pressure of the playoffs. Jimmy G makes deep playoff runs regularly.
Please. The TEAM makes deep playoff runs despite Jimmy. The TEAM could do the same with Kirk, except Kirk has a higher upside and opens up the field more. Jimmy does everything in his power to f**k things up in the playoffs (see Vikings, Chiefs, Cowboys, Packers, Rams games post season). He's lucky that the defense and special teams bail him out and the few instances he had to be a hero, he royally botched it.
It was a botch by Lynch going for Jimmy instead of Cousins. Not a bad shot, but Kirk already was familiar with the Shanahan's playbook. Good chance we have a SB if we went that route.
Jimmy is no scrub though him getting hurt seems to be his biggest vice rather than play. Most of us forget his constant 3rd down conversions in the clutch with quick release in tight windows when he was 100% in rhythm.
