Joe Staley was right when he basically said Wilson was overrated and wouldn't do well on the Broncos.
you don't have to be a genius to know that.. but if you notice in seattle ..they are getting Smith out of the pocket like they did with Russell

keep Smith from using his legs and he won't get hot

No, not the case. He makes his big plays climbing the pocket. I watch every second of every game. He is pretty good outside the pocket, but he is way more productive when he stays in. Russ was the opposite, he thrived on broken plays.

if you watched every second, then you know we were the only team that kept him from going out side and make plays in the pocket..

if we want success against geno, we can't let him get outside
I am starting to wonder if Russell Wilson was really that good or if it was the coaching in Seattle. Looking at how Gino Smith is doing currently and how Wilson has struggled so far in Denver. And it's not like Russ was some elite prospect coming out of college.

I don't expect Seattle to make the playoffs this season, but they have been a lot more fun to watch than the previous three or four.

The Seahawks are NOWHERE NEAR the 49ers. Are you saying they are? Easily hoodwinked aren't you?

5-3 with wins of quality opponents the last few weeks. QB playing like an MVP.

Also, Sutton and Jeudy are both very good wrs. They have a good running game too although it took a hit with Williams going down. He's been playing like garbage since last year. Even before the finger injury.

Dickies Sherman says it's the new system and is blaming Hackett for not molding it to accommodate Widget's playing style. He played a bit better vs the Jags:

Let's see if he truly can improve over the course of the season as he gets more comfortable. I still can't believe we lost to a rekked Widget. That was our golden opportunity to get a win with a dysfunctional offense and we gimped it away

He's no MVP. Dumbest commentary going right now.

Pretty close to it. Kyle's inconsistent head coaching does it again. Kyle is inferior to Carroll but has no excuse for finishing behind Seattle this year with the 49ers talent. Geno>>>>>>>>>>>>2picks

Looks like we'll have to battle Seahawks for the NFC West.

You don't need any commentary, just look at hard facts and stats. Surprised the hell out of everyone, except pete I guess. He can run as well, not sure where that came from. Decent long ball, stays cool in the pocket, goes through his progressions, and not to shabby at scrambling. I'm guessing we sign him at around 30mil/yr, but with team friendly terms.

It will be interesting to see if they use their picks on a first round QB. That will be the telling factor if the front office and coaches see him as a 5 yr guy.
And don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he is going to win mvp, but his stats show why he is in the discussion.

He's certainly in the conversation. Saying he isn't is just being a 49er homer. The NFC West like it or not is going thru Seattle again this season.

No it's not. Like it or not you still get to lose to KC and SF again so the NFC west is going thru SF again this season

We shall see. Dec 15th.

Tell you what el guapo-

If on dec 16th, the hawks are still leading the division, will you agree to come back here and admit you were wrong, that the hawks are the better team?

I will agree to come back here if you guys are leading and admit I was wrong, and that the 49ers are the better team.

You man enough to take this challenge el guapo, or will there still be a bunch of excuses on dec 16th?

I will have no excuses. If you are leading after our game, I will agree the 9ers are the better team. As it stands right now, I think our offense is better, but think your defense is better. Match-up wise, It will really come down to penalties and the turnover battle. The defense we are running now is much different than you saw in our first meeting.

So please answer whether or not you will (respectively) "put your money where your mouth is" and take this challenge.

I'll be waiting for your answer. It will really tell us how you actually view each team, and if you truly believe in the 9ers.
