--rest of the entire roster no names or has beens except for Diggs, Metcalf and lockett....3 DUDES!!!

--new defensive coordinator that was under the guy we fired, no outside hire.

--every talking head in football saying we were going to be one of the 3 worst teams in the NFL this year.

--because of all this, lost all preseason games, looked bad first 4 games of regular season.

Now, we are leading the division, turned scrubs, rookies, cast offs and backups into a team that is now generating superbowl discussion from the same talking heads that had us at 3-14.

You guys are 500, whining because your team has injuries, just like every year, just constant excuses and crying.

Man up fellas, watch some NFL games and please try to be a little more objective on your observations.

Are the hawks better than the 9ers? Not sure, parts of your team look good, I like your coach, but the culture and motivation seams off. Plus, Jimmy g is never going to get you there. He has no grit. You guys know this. Kittle is a beast when healthy, one of the best I have ever seen at that position. Your defense as a whole looks really, really good at times. Kinda scared me in our first game honestly.

I wish on the 16th you guys could somehow transform into folks who could have a salient discussion on the finer points of the game, admit some fault and give credit where credit is due, but judging by this discussion, not holding my breath.

The sad part is that what is going to happen is we are going to beat you, and this thread will be flooded with you guys complaining about refs, injuries, etc, but never acknowledging that maybe we beat you because we have a better front office and coaching staff to consistently build teams that compete. We develop players that others discard and have a better atmosphere to get the most out of no name guys. We have depth because we develop depth. That's why you guys are 19th next year in cap space, and traded away a bunch of draft picks to try make a run and to compete with the "3-14" hawks.

Meanwhile, next year we have a ton of picks and cap space to really turn up the heat. I'm guessing because of the mis management, you guys might go a half a century between superbowl rings. This only changes if you can as a team and a fan base quit making excuses and instead develop a culture that promotes competition and develops backups into starting caliber players.

Again, YOU HAVE NO EXCUSES! You have spent a crap ton and traded away draft picks for big name starters, meanwhile not developing players to take roles when injuries inevitably happen. Now its time to actually win games.

Notice I didn't have to name call or turn opinion into fact to make my points. As guapo would say "logic", though I haven't seen any from him.

Develop depth? Y'all had one good draft in the past 10 years. Y'all haven't really developed much of anything up until this year. The only thing the Seahawks have done over the years is claim our players off of waivers.

Yes, you absolutely on paper have the better team. That's why in the next few years your cap space and number of draft picks sucks. That is also why you have no excuses. With the injuries you have your team is now on par with our starters. It means that development and culture become very important. Our coach is a better coach, our gm is a better gm. That is why we are leading the division. We have taken scrub, backups, rookies and has beens and made a team out of them. You guys have not been able to do this, which is why you are in 2nd right now. I lined all this out very succinctly and logically for you guys in my long post a few back, but as no one actually addressed the points I made with a rational argument, I'm guessing it went over your head.

Thats why you guys have to resort in name-calling like "seacucks" and the like. You cant actually have an intelligent football discussion objectively without totally homering out. I have given the 9ers praise where praise is due a bunch of times since I joined a week ago, haven't called you any names, and was just looking for an actual discussion.

So far, it is what I expected. Carry on with the "seacawks" stuff, the quoting someone else, then just deciding randomly to attribute it to me, and my favorite, the "ROFL" shorthand whenever you have no argument when I bring up perfectly valid points.

Week 10 power rankings:

--ESPN: HAWKS 7, NINERS 8
--NFL: NINERS 7, HAWKS 10
--CBS: HAWKS 7, NINERS 8
--FOX SPORTS: HAWKS 7, NINERS 10
--ATHLON: HAWKS 6, NINERS 10.

As you can see, the hawks are getting credit and respect from around the league. You can put your head in the sand, which im hoping shanny will do as well, if you like. You do so at your own demise.

You guys have the easier schedule ahead, so it could very well come down to the wire.

Is there anyone here who can talk football, or are you all guapo clones?

I have for years come here now and again to get a feel for where the niners fan base is at. You have some very good intelligent posters that bring up good points here and there.

Guapo has always stood out as being consistently wrong. His hate for the hawks runs deep, and it keeps him from being objective. This is still the case, and why I have very little if any respect for what he says.

I visit a lot of opposing teams fanbase forums pregame to get a reading of where they think there team is at, and where they see our strengths and weaknesses. It gives me a balanced perspective so the homer in me doesn't take control. Also, stop with the rings thing. Your last one was over a quarter of a century ago, and all of them before the salary cap Era (cap introduced in 94, your last bowl win was 94 season.) Different league now.

Believe me, I get the frustration. I am a 3rd generation hawks fan, live in the pnw, so I have watched mostly bad seahawks football, poor ownership and atrocious management.

Difference is I can be honest about it.

These rankings change every week. They don't mean much. The Rams were picked to be good again this year and look where they are. The Raiders were supposed to be improved and they're terrible. The entire AFC west was supposed to be the strongest division heading into the season. NFC east was supposed to be one of the weakest. Now it's reversed. All those opinions were from the same people that do the weekly power rankings.

I get where the frustration from guys like guapo comes from. He has watched the niners get fully dominated by the hawks in the last decade. 17-4. What i don't get is where all the bravado comes from as right now you are on a 1 game "win streak"

I would be frustrated as well.
