Absolutely. I don't think we will be superbowl bound or anything this year. I would be happy to go one and done in the playoffs.

The difference is the guys we have that are doing well except for geno are either fresh rookie locked in on the cheap for a few years or already under contract for a bit. Waldron might stick around to take Pete's place when he retires, at least that's the hope right now.

On top of that, we are sitting on a crapload of high picks for a couple years, and we have really good cap space.

If the Broncos keep playing like they are, then those two #1's and 2's are going to be pretty sweet.

The Jamal Adam's contract is really the only thing we have right now that sucks. Hopefully he gets healthy.

What is your take on the McCaffrey trade? Looks like he came out of the gate playing well, but you guys gave quite a bit for him in what looked like an all in for this year type of deal. Do you think that will be a smart move long term? The hawks have made several of those type of trades, and not many have been worth it.

I take it you're a Seahawks fan. I live in Oregon so we have a few around here.

As far as the McCaffrey trade goes, I'm all for it. He gives creative play caller like Kyle another dangerous playmaker and you can never have too many of those. I don't think they gave up that much. They have a surplus of 3rd round picks through the compensation system. They trade Wilson for a 5th rounder so they recovered that one. In effect all they are losing is a 2nd rounder.

Fans value draft picks more than coaches do now. I looked at the 5 drafts that the 49ers have had with Kyle and Lynch to see who they got in rounds 2-4. Out of all those drafts, (15 picks) only Fred Warner, Deebo Samuel, and Wishnowsky are still playing. Banks is now starting at guard and Drake Jackson may develop into a decent pass rusher. So out of 15 picks they got 3 starters and a punter. I have to say that the odds of getting a player as good as CMC in rounds 2-4 are very slim so the trade was worth it.

The biggest frauds in the league this year are being exposed

This is the time of the year when the pretenders start showing who they really are. Yesterday Oregon got exposed. Last night it was UCLA. Favorable schedules and momentum can only carry a team so far. Sooner or later the talent has to show up.
Bucs just scored. It's now 21-3.
NFC West just got a whole lot tastier.

Hawks are killin it this year. They had one of those "hit" draft classes like they did a decade ago that set them up. My biased opinion if f*ck em, my unbiased opinion is Im not sold just yet. They remind me of last years patriots... you can see the cracks but they just havent been exploited yet. It's up to the league to exploit them or the hawks to shore them up. It's easy for the underdogs to put the league on notice... once the league is on notice, the hard part is staying there.

Yeah, "killin it." I especially loved the way they died in Munich. Enjoyable performance.
Seahawks 6 4
49ers 4 4
Rams 3 5
Cardinals 3 6

This A horrible defense that had a few good games (the last 4 against horrible or severely injured offenses)

I was told many excuses as to why the Defense was so bad and now they turned the corner so what's the excuse now?

Im surprised it took this long, but finally banned from .net for suggesting maybe the Seahawks didn't lose today bc "it was unfair to play in Germany" or "the nfl loves Brady" or "the Seahawks are being unfairly penalized." BUT MAYBE it was because the Seahawks have been overachieving. Instant block lol

Who the hell comes to opposing teams fan forums? Lol. Seahawks fans are the most annoying group I have ever met in person.

There are far more 49er fans at the NET than Hawk fans at the webzone. Both good forums if you want to talk football

That's wierd. Like Seattle
