packers and cowboys are the only two I absolutely will hate til the day I die growing up in the 90s. Seattle was a flash in the pan rivalry when we had harbaugh and they had sherman and the dope fiends in the backfield. i just hate them because I live up here and most of their fans are inbred

That rivalry was more about Carroll vs Harbaugh and Sherman/Baldwin Vs Harbaugh/Crabtree.
It had nothing to do inherently with the two franchises.
Cawk fans consider us their main rival because we stood in their way during their rise to relevance (the Holmgren era teams sort of flew under the radar)

you cant have a main rival be a team you only play every 4 years in the regular season. the Rams will always be the 49ers main rival.

I know what he meant but to be perfectly honest I was content before realignment. The culmination of a few things happened early on like in 02' with TO and the sharpie, and let's not sell the past 12 years short. Especially if you enjoy football. As for tomorrow, the 49ers are heavily favored and could be a Super Bowl team but I do expect the Hawks will be ready. Purdy is a baller, Lance is not unfortunately. You swung and missed but I thought it was a reach from the get go given Trey's lack of P5 football. I'm just glad we made the playoffs during a rebuild year and got a top 5 pick. Glad Denver's GM was dumb enough to take the bait.

They haven't played good football in 2 months and only 3 wins in that span were against the Jets and Rams(twice) both teams that all but gave up on their seasons. Under the previous and more ideal rules, they would've missed the playoffs entirely
