Yeah that was an absolutely horrible non call
Horrible non-call? Yes. But the Lions also helped out with a couple of bone-headed turnovers. That and the Detroit penchant for testing the Seahawks on 4th down was going to backfire on the Lions at some point.
Keep in mind that the Seahawks MISSED two field goals during yesterday's game and still managed to pull out a win. Geno Smith was sharp. Much sharper than I had given him credit for. The Seahawks taught the Lions a big lesson on Sunday. The Lions may think they have arrived. They haven't. They are knocking on the door. No doubt. But they still haven't kicked it in yet.
Question is, which Seahawks team is the real one? Is it the Seattle team that got spanked but good by the Rams? Or is it the team that showed up in Detroit yesterday?
I think that depends on which team the Seahawks are playing. I don't know, I would hope its the team that played the Lions, but doesn't miss field goals, plays better defense and establishes the run better. HA!
Also to answer the earlier question asked of me by another regarding the Rams in full rebuild. Well I relied on my friend who is a big fans of the Rams to give me the details on the Rams and he felt the Rams were in rebuild. Maybe they are in rebuild but found young studs? I don't know. They put a good match against the Niners and obviously beat the Seahawks. So I they are truly in the mix and as of now the Hawks are third place in the NFCW.
As of now, I am neither high on the Seahawks or even cautiously optimistic. I'm just along for the ride. It's very interesting that the Seahawks Niners games this season were put so late in the season and almost back to back. There's A LOT of football to be played before those games occur.
