I still don't truly understand how hawks fans can have hatred for the niners like they do. Unless they didn't watch much football before realignment. I can't imagine my team spending 25 years in the AFC, be shipped over to the NFC and then immediately claim a team in the new division as my "hated rival". I don't see the hawks declaring this hatred for the cardinals or rams (outside of a that window where McVay really blew them out for a while).
Just doesn't make any sense to me. Even at the time of Harbaugh's hiring... the teams hadn't even been in the same division for a full decade. Rivalries are built over time and with history. What was the genesis of this "rivalry" for seahawk fans?
I think it all started with Kaepernick. They hated him so much it inspired this commercial lmao

if only his career played out like how he is displayed in the commercial....
Uhh...that CK commercial had more to do when he was taking a knee and I think you had percentages of every NFL fanbase very up in arms against it. I'm sure even in this forum people still very split on the taking the knee.

CK commercial came out in 2013. Kaep took the knee in 2016.
I hope they hire Quinn, an uninspiring hire if you ask me. A less enthusiastic and less quirky Carroll. They should go after an offensive guy that can develop a qb, maybe Slowik, or if defensive, I'd rather have Macdonald, or even Vrabel.
A youth movement in Seattle: Seahawks are expected to hire Ravens' defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald as their new head coach, league sources tell ESPN. They're still finalizing the deal, but Seattle has its man.
