you've been missing for some time now. Finally able to show your face again. Lol
I see you moved on from fudge packing to tea baggin. SMH
So much nonsense in that post to even bother address it all.
Don't forget the series was split this season. But for some reason you Shehawk fans have forgotten that lol
either way, both teams aren't doing s**t this season. We have a banged up roster and SB hangover to at least hang our hat on.

The only expectation/hope I had for my team this season was start to look like it was coming together and building towards something by mid-late season (for future seasons, not this one), and it appears like it's going there. I think Niner fan expectations were different heading into this season. The SB hangover for SB losing teams is definitely real, it happens too often for it not to be real. I always have a hard time with fans that expect their team after losing a SB to just come back and win the following year, it generally doesn't happen like that. i.e. most of the Seahawks talent was still on the team after SB 49, and some (a lot) of fans thought they would just turn around and be a contender the following year, I knew deep down it was already imploded. I think for the Niners similar situation after Kyle lost his second 49er Superbowl, maybe not quite as awful as an ending as the Hawks in SB 49, but players definitely start to second guess their coach internally.

Don't group us all as dumbs**t fans. That is an incorrect assumption and so is your SB hangover call out. Getting to the SuperBowl is probably the toughest objective in any of the four major pro US sports especially because of the single elimination format. This fact adds to this "SB hangover" illusion. It's primarily real with the 49ers because of their deep playoff runs since 2021, nine extra games. The 49ers are mentally and physically exhausted and it shows. And we're not numb to the fact that we are lacking talent and depth, even in the coaching ranks. The Trey Lance debacle and s**tty drafting in general is impacting this year more than ever. For the record I've told everyone and their momma, before the season started, that I'd be surprised as heck if we made it back to the big dance this year. Many zoners have said the same thing. Please stop with your non-fact based generalizations.

Good post.
The one thing I'll add, is that a s**tload of injuries can derail any team's chances, don't matter what team it is. If healthy, we would've obviously been contenders again. There's a reason why many were still picking the niners game to game even with how depleted the team has been.

Yes. We usually get a boatload of injuries but this time virtually every key player has been affected.

I'm not a 49er fan. I live in 49er territory so I have interest in them. Don't like the Seahawks. I refer to them as the seahags. From an outside perspective I can see too many 49er fans blaming Kyle Shanahan for the problems. Some even want him fired. I'll tell you this, if it ever happens he won't be out of job long. A number of teams will be lining up to hire him. Firing him would be a huge mistake.
I see a number of Rams fans complaining about McVay. But you rarely see anyone wanting a coaching change with him. Because they know it could be worse. The old cliche, be careful what you wish for.
49ers were projected to be a top tier Superbowl contender. Rams were projected to be a legit playoff team. So far its not happening. Blaming the coaches is short sighted. Both teams suffered injuries that a lot of teams could not overcome. Fortunately for both the division is still up for grabs. If the 49ers got healthy and make the playoffs, I'd consider them to be a legit challenger along with Detroit and Philly. The Rams ceiling if probably one playoff win at best.

Hmm I don't know. That's a bizarre take bro considering the age and lack of foot speed on the 49er defense. With Bosa in the lineup they're mediocre. With Bosa not in the lineup they're the slowest and weakest D in the league bar none. I mean the Jags have more talent. Accept reality which is that the aging vets aren't aging very well and Purdy is below average.
They need a guy like McDonald from the Hawks but they have his ass locked in. Need to get younger and quicker. When Geno "Tea-Bagged" Warner and Campbell for six it was a sign of things to come. Tim Rattay>Purdy
Brock can actually learn a lot from Tim Rattay

We may be 3 games behind them after tonight because they will own all the tiebreakers. Crazy. Even crazier when you consider that I think they're the worst team in the division.

Me too. It's just crazy how this year has gone. I don't like it that they may win the division i would rather the cards or the rams if the 49ers cant win it. I always say never let a team up while you have them down, don't let them get used to winning anything again.

True. But a part of me laughs at Seattle because they're definitely not winning the SB and always end up with this middling record that prevents them from getting a really high pick. I prefer AZ to win the division because I like the demeanor of their HC and team overall.
Just crazy that we are so bad we can't even win this crappy division.
