Seattle Seahawks thread

Why this thread even exists at this point is beyond ridiculous. Our Niners don't even belong in the same conversation with the Seahawks. Their organization is light years ahead of where our team is now. Waste of breath IMO.

Unreal how much the Cardinals outplayed the Seahawks 20 to 20.....just a lot of bad luck scoring once they got in range.
Props to the Seahawk defense for a ferocious effort, but 9 times out of 10 you lose a game like that.
Buffalo and Philly are big threats for a home loss for the Hawks. After seeing the way they terrorized offensive lines recently, they are gunning for Wilson no doubt.
Cards got a little greedy. They could've piled some FG early on.

I look at it the other way.
If/when the Seahawks suck again, is when they became a waste of breath.
Keep that fighter in you bro. Eventually we will take them down again.

only game i care ab out winning now is the season finale against the seahawks. hopefully they need a win to get into the playoffs and we stop them. realistically will probably lose by 40, but i'll still hope.

We arent allowed to talk about other teams because our team sucks? Seems kind of silly.

He only tried to do a read option once and was easily brought down for no gain. Without the D Line having to honour the threat of the read option, Seattle's running game is getting exposed as a very poor one. Which leads me to my main take away. The tackles we have are both so poor that the offense can not even operate any time we face a team with good edge rushers. I think the center and guards will be servicable, as I see improvement week to week, but the tackles are vomit inducing.
Arizona had a great defensive game plan. Knowing they could pressure the outside of the pocket every play, they often clogged up the middle with A gap blitzes (or the threat of them). Wilson was forced to step up in the pocket, and the big uglies didn't have to get penetration, just being there was enough to prevent Wilson from seeing downfield. He couldn't slide to find throwing lanes like I've seen him do in other games - Arizona simply took those away. Without Wilson able to run, the secondary was able to do more man coverage and less zone. By and large, the Arizona defensive backs won their battles with the Seattle receivers. I expect every defense the Seahawks face for the next few weeks to give this a try. Until the offense can prove they can counter it, why woundn't they?
I don't care how good the defense is (and I think they are very good), this team may stagger into the playoffs as they are structured, but there is no way they go far unless there is a miraculous turn around on the offensive line. This running game is not going to win playoff football, and without a running game, the Seahawks offense doesn't even function.
Don't worry. They'll run for 500 yards against us in the final game of the season, make the playoffs, get tuned up and get to the NFCCG on momentum alone.

On a side note, I like our fg defense. We have the only 2 players in the nfl that can jump over the center and block fg's.

The Rams did it first against the Giants in 2014.

Video or it didn't happen I wonder why more teams don't try that, especially when they're way down and they have nothing to lose if they get a penalty?

Also Russell Wilson was the first NFL QB to run the zone-read in a Super Bowl.
A year after Colin Kaepernick did it.

Wagner is actually the only Seahawk to successfully block a FG by jumping the center.
