Then again he already has. It's mind boggling.

What's so hard to understand? This is a 49er site, we don't praise all things Russell Wilson. Perhaps .net would be a better place for you if your that into RW. At .net they talk crap about Kap all the time, not real hard to understand why. It's a Hawk fan forum.

There's even a dedicated thread in the Veteran's forum about one zoner's extreme dislike about everything RW on and off the field. I get it...there are some players fans just love to hate. I was that way with Leroy Butler and Dickies Sherman but these same peeps adore certain players on the Hawk's defense. So to each his own I guess.

What people don't understand and it's comical is that a lot of us don't hate Russell Wilson. I think he is probably a nice person but I do not like his play on the field. Simple as that. I give him where credit it's due, he is a very good game manager in the regular season when he's playing against not great defenses. That is reality. He did little to nothing to help them win the Super Bowl As well. I just wish some people knew the difference between hatred and calling it as it is. I actually hate Richard Sherman but I can't really say anything because he is so dam good. Even with holding a lot. That's the truth. That is why people poke fun at a certain member or members who love rw.
Um look at that thread in the Veteran's forum. Many who have commented in this thread have literally stated "I hate Russell Wilson".

Your opinion is by no means representative of all.

If he doesn't have me on ignore, lolz.
Well, Rawls, Chancellor, Bennet, Wilson (Luke), Sowell, and Pierre-Lewis out for Sunday.

Sounds like surgery for Bennet.

Starting to really test the depth....
So Fant will likely start at left tackle. A basketball player who never played football until his senior year. I never verified it but the narrative is that he has less 50 snaps as a starter at any level. This could make New Orleans look like they have a functioning defense.

Worst news is Bennett. Easily the best player on that line. With him out Avril will get a lot of extra attention. This Sunday promises to be an adventure.

That star littered defensive backfield going to get a taste of what RW has to go through day in and day out.

Since we agree with logic, do you see the Hawks going for a trade since Bennett might be out for the year. We have a lot of contracts expiring soon so if we can get the trade bait it would be this year or next. With Bennett being out im not sold on the line. Your thoughts?
Here's a non-copy/paste post ~ straight from my blue/green heart . . .

I've gladly given credit to the Hawks defense and openly hoped that it would continue to be their strength, as defense is my favorite element of the game (special teams is a close second - which has made this season a bit difficult to watch ).
Just as the defense is not SOLELY responsible for the Hawks success, RW is not SOLELY responsible for any/all struggles (and vice versa)
In other words, it takes TWENTY-2 to tango

As for the 'what have you done for me lately'?
Obviously, the Hawks running game isn't the same w/o Marshawn (though they were able to muddle through most of last year w/o him).
It seems to go unacknowledged that RW has been s huge part of that ~ until injuries have hampered him this season. He is on pace for a whopping 88 yards rushing this season (his previous worst was 401 MORE than that). Conversely, he is on pace for highest passing yardage (4129)

Anyhoo ~ all this to say that I have never claimed RW to be 'elite' but, merely attempted to refute the notion that he is merely a game manager. Given his work ethic, leadership, strong/accurate arm, propensity for big plays along with his mobility and elusiveness . . . he's clearly more than that. At least I think so, and I am more than happy to have him QB the team which I follow.

Nothing wrong with hating Wilson.

I'm one of those people, there I said it.

It will cloud my biases a bit, but let me tell you something -- a *** ton of .NET nation has loathed Kaepernick from the beginning. That they have failed to give the guy any credit is besides the point, but I do find the "hatred" they have/had for him very entertaining.

And what the hell did Kap have to do BUT PERFORM POORLY against Seattle?? He never even got lucky breaks against them except maybe that bullet pass over Earl Thomas in the NFCC. And even that's questionable compared to the many plays Wilson has made that left your head scratching.

Maybe that needs to be discussed further....a hatred of Kaepernick unprecedented for 4 years until he took a knee in a preseason game. Only thing I can think of was jealousy of Kap stealing all the media attention in 2012 as the shift went from Wilson to him. Even with the Kaepernicking and what not, he's still less of a flamboyant p***k than Cam Newton, a guy they never seemed to hate all that much.

I thought it would be nice to have like minded people around here to share in the hatred, but of course we have some here defending him like he's a Niner, even wishing congrats on the new baby, lol.

Give me some time and maybe I can find you a link for Wilson and Ciara's baby shower registry.

Gonna have over 40 points combined both teams at least this weekend in that dome.

Kapernick was a threat to Seattle's dominance, and he came across as a douche in everything he did on and off the field. That's why Seattle hated him just like they hate Cam Newton now. I actually love Cam's style, I think it's f**king awesome :) I felt the same way about certain players teams back in the day..

Leroy Butler of the Packers and his s**t talking against our 49ers
Muhsin Muhammad of the Panthers (and his duels with Pope).
Jamal Anderson of the Falcons (effin hated that dirty bird dance, wanted so bad for Hanks to get a pick for six and do his chicken dance as a counter)
And of course Dickies Sherman for what he did to Crabs.

I would think there is no way the Hawks trade Bennett. He is their best defender besides Sherman IMO. He means too much to the team and they will most likely pay him a few million more than the 6 or so million he is making. If Seattle doesn't keep him, their front seven instantly becomes above average from very good

Muhsin Muhammad really did a number on us for a few years with Seifert/Beurlein. I think that Panther team was the one who snapped our home winning streak in '99

And Bennett has the nerve to complain about the cut block that injured him. I never wish for a player to be injured, but for anyone in the Seahawk organization to complain about cut blocking is hypocritical as hell. Ask Ian Williams about JR Sleazy's blocking technique. The Seahawk OL has made cut blocking an art form in the Cheat Carroll era. I feel bad for Bennett, I really do. But phuck the Hawks and the dirty chit they always pull. Karma is alive an well.

If it was an ACL injury, Baalke would move heaven and earth to get him.
