Falcons @ Seahawks this weekend: who do you guys like?

I think ATL defense underrated personally. People want to dismiss their performance this weekend as facing a rookie QB, but don't think that's fair.

Quinn vs Carroll...I really like this matchup (and the other 4pm matchups with Raiders vs Chiefs and Cowboys vs Packers). Is it Sunday yet ?
Wondering if I should start Coleman next week against the Hawks. He got 22 points against that great Broncos D
Very curious about Falcons vs Seahawks also. In my mind the big issues for the Seahawks offensively on this one is whether the Falcons can abuse the Seahawks inexperienced o line like they did to Denver - and if so is Wilson's high ankle sprain recovered enough to give him mobility. And how long can the Hawks go without their run game producing? If the D doesn't have to worry about RW as a runner, Seattles run game looks below average.

On defence, the Falcons used RB's out of the backfield to great effect last week. Schematically this is also a weakness of Seattles D. Everybody talks about TE coverage, but covering backs in the passing game is almost as large of an issue over the past few years. Quinn certainly knows the personnel and scheme for Seattle better than most. Who has the best game plan and who executes it better? I'm very excited about this game because it's going to tell me a lot about both teams. Funny when the schedule came out, this did not strike me as a very good game - now I'm really looking forward to it.

hawks will win at home. if it were in atl, they'd get destroyed, IMO.
I hope you're wrong.
I think the big story this weekend will not be ATL's offense, but that defense getting to Wilson.
I think even with a weak ol Seattle will be fine bc atl has one of the worst pass rushes if not the worst pass rush in the league. Atl defense is far from decent so this will be a win at Seattle. If it were at atl, I give the edge to atl. Seattle is weak against pass catching rbs and tes so it should be a decent game, however we have all seen Ryan struggle bigtime. This year he is doing good passing to rbs as his main targets so this will cut down on his red zone ints hopefully. Ryan should target jones everytime he is matched up away from Sherman.
Julio Jones about to go off on Sherman.

that'd be great. But I don't see that happening. Who was the last dude to "go off" no Dick? Ty?

If Seahawks lose this game, then all the blame will have to go to our boy right?

No one goes off on Dick, but a few WRs have made big catches on him:

Odell Beckham Jr, 2014
Kenneth Britt, 2015
Brandon Marshall, 2016

? Serious lapse of logic here.

I was referring to Seattle only really needing to score 13 points on average to win most of their games. Pretty simple really, hope that clears it up

In 2015, during wins the offense averaged 27.9 pts, and the defense gave up 10 pts on average. During losses, the offense averaged 24 pts per game, whereas the defense gave up 29.5 pts. What's your point here? 3 point drop off for the offense, 19.5 for the defense.

I think the point is that Seattle as a whole feasts on bad teams, and are nothing but average against good teams. This is the reason for their inflated stats on both defense AND offense.

Julio Jones is different animal. And Jones has Shermans old D coordinator as his coach. You don't think he might know a weakness in Shermans game. Just don't try Earl Thomas he's good

remember when we were all excited because Stevie Johnson made sherman look dumb while he was with the bills? Then he came here and never saw field? that was awesome.

Sherman gave up 69 yards and 1 touchdown while covering Stevie in that 2012 game but it should be really, really hard to get excited about any stats from any player on the losing end of a 50 to 17 score.
