I know it's not happening (Deshaun wants to play for a contender), but I sure hope Watson ends up with these cawkSuckers
I don't think Watson wants to be in Seattle. Carolina seems like a better fit to me.

If they trade for Watson they won't have thise picks to use for the rebuild.

Much much rather trade 3 1st round picks for Watson than Lance.

Nah, we were all in on Watson and the allegations started rolling in. 22 women seems more concrete than a money grab, i don't want to route for that guy.

I hate them the most. We have at times dominated everyone else but in this era we can't figure these guys out.

I remember being so hyped for kaepernick debut and we get shellacked by like 40

- Russell Wilson Trade - I'm good with it, I've been saying paying high QB money isn't the way to compete for a SB for a while now, I just wish this move was made sooner, especially before the Adams trade because the picks and placement in the draft was almost the same which is really sad. But it is indeed an end of an era. It'll be sad not seeing some of the amazing plays RW would be capable of every season. I do wish overall that JS and PC left and they instead found a coach who could possibly make an offense flourish with RW.

- Bobby Wagner Release - This truly saddens me. I completely understand it, he's not worth the new salary given what he is now. But he's still an amazing LB, he was definitely at the top of his position in the NFL for a long time and he just showed up to play. No drama, no nothing. He's been my favorite Seahawk since 2012 for sure.

- D. Watson - I've done my best to think of "second chances" when the Hawks would pick up certain players with upsetting pasts. That being said if they pick up D. Watson, I don't care about his talent given his allegations (which are probably true). I just can't get behind that at all. I dont care what he learned (if he learned anything), that type of stuff is pretty damn close to murder in the scale of unacceptable to me regarding character. Especially the count of women who came out against him, you don't have that many women saying stuff out of the blue. Not charged is not the same as not guilty either.

Hey zag,

I fully expect Watson to be a hawk. He cleared his criminal charges. Most fans would want Watson. I expect him to follow Big ben and play a number of years.

it's gonna be a dog fight and I've at this point just chalk up the two meetings as losses for us and pray for less injuries.

They won't have the draft picks after using them all to get Watson. And one of Lockett or Metcalf will have to be included in the trade. And they won't have the cap space because they will have to pay Watson $40 Million. It's going to cost Seattle 3 1st RD picks plus one of Metcalf or Lockett. And I am still not sure that will be enough considering all the teams that are interested. Eagles could beat that offer, They have 3 mid 1st RD picks this year and Hurts that could package.

Seattle will still have more picks than the 9ers even if they trade for Watson. Sure they could include Lockette, but I doubt they would give up Metcalf, they would probably just include more picks if Houston asked for Metcalf. And yes there are teams that could beat their offer, but as of right now, Watson controls his destiny with his NTC that could be waived for his preferred team.

From all the tweets that's being posted, the expectation around the league is that Watson will be traded to Carolina or Seattle. And I'm willing to bet that Watson would choose Seattle over Carolina, no denying Seattle is the better team between the two.

Seattle would have to trade a minimum of 3 firsts (it'll be more than that). So how exactly do they have more?

Also, Carolina is a better team, not sure how you'd even debate that. Seattle might have better Wars overall, and that's it
Man, Pete Carrol must have some magical powers that he hides being a weasel so well, the players keep falling for it.
If the Seahawks had to give up 3 number ones and maybe 2 number two picks then they would actually have less drafting power then SF'. The would end uo with 7 picks but no #1. maybe one #2, a 3, 4 and 2 #5s a 6 and a 7.

After trading Jimmy the Niners are probably going to have at least two #2s, two #3s a4, 5, and 6. Maybe they even get another pick besides a #2. So thye would have at least 7 picks, the same as Seattle but higher placed picks.

Seattle has two of Denvers 1st round picks, their own #9 overall pick, their own 2023 1st round pick and four 2nd round picks. I don't think I even have to go on.

And how is Carolina a better team?? Pete Carroll is a much better coach than Mat Rhule, that alone will be a strong consideration I'm betting. Both teams don't really have running backs on the roster so that's a wash. But if Seattle keeps Lockette and Metcalf, c'mon as a QB who would you rather throw to?? Oh let's not forget Noah Fant.

I get it, we are suppose to hate Seattle as 9er fans, but lets take off the blinders for minute here.

Right now between '22 and '23, the Seahawks have four 1st round picks I believe, not to mention five 2nd round picks (again including '23). Now tell me, how much 1st round picks do the 9ers have again??

Texans want players, along with draft picks. Seahawks have really nobody to offer them, other than Lockett and DK. They won't want Adams and that contract. And if there is a bidding war which it looks there will be, the haul is going to be massive.

no.

one '22 1st
two '23 1sts

two '22 2nds
two '23 2nds
and to reiterate Watson has a no trade clause and demands.
