One thing that drove me crazy yesterday are the two officials meetings to declare the time on the clock was correct. Romo had a funny comment about that.

I think those meetings were to make sure all the refs were on the same page as the games progressed.

What should be on the agenda this offseason:

- Pass Interference (or missed PI) reviewable
- Personal fouls hit (roughing passer, roughing kicker, defenseless receiver, chop block) reviewable
- Officially change offensive holding to the holding that is actually called - arm bars, jersey grabs, tackling. BUT ONLY if you officially allow the minimal hand fighting for defensive holding and PI to also go by the wayside. Essentially, if we're only gonna call the egregious stuff on the offense, then we should only call the egregious stuff on the defense. If the league is more concerned with penalties that lead to injuries they should ease up on the penalties that just prevent players from playing through.
- Defensive PI yardage maxed at 15 yards.
- Allow exception for declared onside kicks to allow players a 5-yard running start. The new rule to prevent injuries has greatly reduced the ability to successfully pull off an onside kick, and the onside kick rule is only there to begin with to allow a team down 9+ points a chance in the 4th quarter. The less onside kicks have a chance to succeed the less reason people have to watch the end of games where a team has a 9-16 point lead.
This alone would keep the shehawks out of the playoffs

Officials need to be on blast / in the spotlight for obvious bogus calls and no calls...in another country, I believe they'd get sniped.

Tip or no tip, penalty couldn't have been more visible...it was blatantly obvious the refs saw it. They had something riding on this game.

if the NFL used RUGBY 7's replay method we wouldn't look so ignorant. they use a head ref in the booth. If he see's something on the field that was missed he will page down to the field ump and they will make the call then. it's not that hard but in america we have a great way of making the simplest things that much harder.

This. With today's technology of lasers, unlimited camera angles, being able to get accurate data and information to the field judges should be quick as d easy.

With your RUGBY 7 idea in regards to refs is on point and makes too much sense.

However, if Goodell and the league really want to get their act together, they would. I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but we've got to be naive if we don't think some games are (timely) rigged at some degree. Otherwise, they would've fixed the poor officiating problem quite a long time ago.

Oh brother I'm with you,...money talks .... and people are silly if they think some NFL games can't get rigged. Too much money involved, too many part time employees, it's happened consistently at the college level. Vegas has been deep for years. It really is an easy fix to clean up the errors but why hasn't it been done????

Man I wish we could be a fly on the wall...we could just bet on the refs and make a fortune every season...

Rigged NFL games are like UFO's, we know they're there we just need confirmation!!!

Easiest people to pay off is the refs, what do they make a game, $5,000?

You wouldn't be able to buy those things cause you would be a fly.....duuuuh!!!!
i still think that ref just competely missed the call, whether he just wasn't paying attention or whatever happened, i don't think it had to do with rigging. and i say that because that was such an obvious call...if you gonna rig a game, you don't do it there.

trust me, i've seen that pic a million times as well. idk though...i just find it hard to believe that he would miss such a clear call on purpose. he's probably thinking of what to eat for dinner right there

Maybe. What sticks out to me was the replacement refs. Lol a few games even that big primetine game between the Pack and Hawks really stick out.
Lol replacement refs???? A multi billion $$ company couldn't get an agreement done in time? Lol sure...
