Me too, also wanted Cody Kessler. Hue Jackson getting production with two rookie QB's, and we're over here messing around with QB's like Ponder.

Pretty much inexcusable.
The browns are 0-5. Pick your battles. I don't think our situation could be helped by Any Coach anyway.Originally posted by chico49erfan:Originally posted by JustinMT:Originally posted by Kolohe:Originally posted by Jcool:Kevin Hogan looking good... Wanted him on the 49ers...

Really wanted Hue as a coach here but he didn't come (IMO) because he relinquished too much control to Baalke. Ironic because I doubt Baalke is back next year (not sure how he could be!)

Perhaps you're right. Even though it's been almost two decades I'm still not used to seeing a good offensive system and good offensive players in another uniform (and beating us in many instances).

Originally posted by Blindfury:I agree, given the organizational dysfunction, the talents of even the best players would be (or would have been) wasted here. It was in spite of the dysfunction, and due to a largely grade A coaching staff, that we were able to accumulate the talent and put it to use for our most recent brief run of success.

I think it's a combination of a lot of things and for sure we have not had a QB consistently as good as Carr, no doubt. But if we drafted Carr, in this mess of a organization, do you think he'd be as good as he is now? I just have a feeling he wouldn't. Think we failed in many areas.

Hue is who I wanted as well. Really wanted him but of course, Baalke f**ks it up because Hue wanted more control over player personnel.
I think both Kaep and Blaine would have been better with Hue.
Baalke's pressence though is killing this franchise. Get him out!
