As things stand today, it's Sad but True !

The Vikings are averaging 2.5 yards per carry this year. Next-lowest is the Rams, at 3.1. Their pass protection is also abysmally-bad. Their defense is insane, but I don't know if they're going to be able to go deep into the playoffs this year.

Earlier in the game their defense returned a pick to the 2-yard line and they failed to score (drive ended with a Bradford pick on 3rd down). Just recently, they failed to pick up a 3rd-and-1 (and then 4th-and-1) on the five yard line. If this want this rugged, grind-it-out style of team, they have to be able to run the ball more reliably than this.

we dont have close to teh talent oakland has on O they have one of the best OL and 2 #1 wrs

And the following week the bills run defense is as s****y as ours. It all makes sense.

So glad we didn't sign Boldin back..or Iupati....or Crabtree....or Gore.....or Boone

Not disputing your comment as it relates to the talent levels of each team ... but I think
you might have missed my point. A few years ago -- during the Harbaugh run -- most of
us in The Zone, felt Very Good about our team, and the direction it was seemingly headed.

However, during that same period of time, the team across the bay, was languishing in
"Football Hell". Once Al's son really took over the team, he hired a Football Guy, and let
him do his job.

What's going on in Oakland (IMO), is not an Accident, by any stretch of the imagination ...
to me, it's people knowing what they are doing, and them being allowed, to do just that !
